Re: Anthony Davis Requests Trade from NO
Lebron call himself the GOAT, month later in a pathetic & desperate attempts try’s to lure 2 superstars to join him lol how weak.
This is why MJ will always be the GOAT. Didn’t care who he had on the court, he just had the belief & mentality that no one could stop him.

No, S&T rules were changed a few years back to make it much harder to repeat that situation moving forward
How soon could we combine a resigned Terry with other parts? Resign him July 1, sign the picks, etc. Would it be Dec 15th before we could combine Terry in a possible trade?
It can immediately— however, it counts as half his salary for us to trade him and his full salary for NO to receive him. Once his salary get large enough, it becomes functionally impossible to S&T him.
Thanks, I guess what I meant is when does it count as just his salary, not the 50% restriction. Isn't that after 12/15 (or some other magic date)? I think this board needs another 11 months of this.

Hes not trying to lure Kyrie: thats the beauty of it. Kyrie isnt leaving— he’s just trying to scare NO into believing that we may not offer Tatum this summer so they trade him AD now.

He can be dealt after 1/15 I believe.

Re: Anthony Davis Requests Trade from NO
You know what would really throw a LeBron James ego sized wrench into all this ****??
If Kyrie came out tomorrow and said he is 100% signing in Boston..again. Which everybody knows he is as long as Boston offers him that supermax. But it would be juicy watching the media scramble to come up with a new big 3 in LA. Lol

Oh and another thing. AD wants out. Kyrie wanted out of Cleveland. I’d play hard and not include Tatum. Let LA do their thing.

Re: Anthony Davis Requests Trade from NO
On the Kyrie situation, I'm not believing anything that doesn't come from the Celtics, Celtics media (reliable guys like Bulpett), or reload. We've had nothing from the Celtics end to suggest that Kyrie is seriously considering leaving, and until then I'll assume that hasn't changed.
Edit: This all started when AD demanded a trade. AD and LeBron share an agent, it's no secret that he'd sign long term in LA if dealt there. Boston can destroy any offer by LA if this goes past the trade deadline, so they need NO to jump on an offer now.

Yup. O'Connor, Amick, reload, and Brian Robb all say we still feel very good about keeping him.

Ah, I don't think I can deal with a full year. I was down for 11 months, but...
I was actually wondering if we could get away with in in 90 days. Sign the picks, sign Terry day 1 of FA, complete everything 90 days later by training camp, but that doesn't seem possible.

Would be amazing, all the attention goes onto Klay.
Can’t wait till the summer hits & the Lakers end up with nothing. Might enjoy myself to a a cigar when that beautiful day comes around.

What is the most "overwhelming" deal that the Lakers could offer?
Could they actually offer something better than the Celtics???

LeBron lol
Something like Ball/Kuzma/Ingram and some picks is as good as it gets I believe. I think the picks are all their own too so they won't be very good.

What you've been hearing. Basically the kids plus their pick. Lonzo, Ingram, Hart, Kuzma, Zubac. I'm sure anyone would be on the table outside LeBron. LeBron + AD + scrubs would definitely put you in contention. Vets will sign for cheap.
Basically we're offering the same thing, a rebuild. We'll see if other teams will offer established all-stars but there's no reason to assume our packages is any better/worse than anyone else..

That's what I was thinking.
Other than LeBron himself, they don't have enough to beat the Celtics.
The Pelicans have already said, that they'll wait.

Also they would be trading him out of the conference to celtics which I think gives them advantage as well.
