1. Saves Tilman Fertitta a large chunk of change in 2022-23 (around $20-22M)
2. Gets Boston under the tax line in 2021-22
3. Solves the Schroder problem
4. Brings in a player who used to be an all-star point guard
5. Brings in a young player who yours truly likes alot
6. Provides a huge expiring contract to chase Moby Beal or someone of his ilk in 2022-23
7. Clears the way for Pritchard, Langford, Fernando and Nesmith to sink or swim.

Can't see Stevens making a deal to make the team worse.

How much worse? If you prefer, put Langford and Nesmith into the deal instead of Richardson. As for Horford, he's not the player he was three years ago. What frightens me is if Stevens gives up a first round pick to unload Schroder and/or Hernangomez. just like he did to unload Kemba. This team desperately needs to hit on picks.

Frightens? Lol, that’s not the market. Interesting in theory though - would they give up a first if it was the only way to get under the tax?

Surprised you haven’t suggested Jaylen to OKC for Giddey, Lu Dort, picks

Trade for some kind of bucket getting clown - Giddey/Dort/Tatum/Barnes/Rob

It’s not our timeline but it’s the ultimate guys who play the right way trade.

I’ll save you the typing,

Curm: if only Presti were stupid enough to trade for Brown

Presti would never do that. Brown isn't on his timeline. Presti would also never give a pick. He can see the potentially franchise-altering players who will be available in the 2023 draft, just like everyone else.

Josh Hart's a guy that hasn't gotten much burn here for discussion. Idk what it would take to get him, but he can shoot, defend, moves the ball, plays hard. Would be a real nice addition under the TPE.

If the Celtics were 30-14 instead of 22-22, maybe ownership might be willing to pay the tax associated with that acquisition, which, by the way, would (unless my math is off) hard cap the franchise for the rest of the year.

Nice player, but why would they trade him? All I've got is like, Nesmith to Boston, Josh to a third team, third team sends asset to NOP. Don't think we can trade Richardson anyway.

For those that want John Wall, I've said it before and will say it again. You don't want him near the Celtics, especially the young players. Really nice guy, but...I will leave it at that.

Would like to add Jokic and Doncic to this group. So Jays don't have to carry the team every night. Make it happen, Steven!

How can Wall be a really nice guy and a horrible influence? He's a heroin addict and a sweetheart?

Probably holds parties with sex, drugs, and alcohol even on game nights but is a terrific host.

Be more creative guys. You are absolutely boring with those Jaylen trade. Brad Stevens is not going to trade Brown.

Turner is so overrated. Indy gets 2 first round picks for Turner their GM should immediately get a new 5 year extension.

Celtics would also like two first-rounders and a young prospect for Juancho Hernangomez.

Bryn Forbes is a guy that could help this team...he can really shoot, not much else but I am sure he would get minutes over Nesmith, Langford...

Celtics should be looking at packages moving vets, Langford, Nesmith, one/two first round picks for a potential stud player.

I mean if you are not going to play Langford & Nesmith you might as well package them for a meaningful player. If there is nothing there then there is nothing there but Celtics should be looking.
