There is no window for championship contention with this group. Our best players are all star reserves. Other teams got multiple MVP candidates paired together. Even if Kawhi leaves the conference, we're massive underdogs against the Bucks and Sixers. Team should be building for the future honestly.

At what? he isn't a good NBA player anymore....from someone who liked him in LA

He’s only 30 bro. He could have a bounce back playing with elite talent. Assuming KD returns to full health. I bet you would be jumping in your seat if we got DAJ.

He could theoretically have a bounce back but last year he wasn't hurt and was trash for two different team lol

If you played for the tank machine knicks, im sure you would be trash as well.

I just want to enjoy watching this team again, I have a feeling next year is going to be a lot of fun.

 True but there is a reason LA didn't make a large effort to retain him, or Dallas traded him right away. He hasn't been good in a while. He certainly is no "Big 3" member

It'll be fun if we see some serious growth from our young guys.

I think you have it backwards. If he was gonna sign quick with someone it would have been the Lakers who have to actually build a roster.

Toronto’s chances get more likely as we wait. Their roster is set

There’s nothing he could do. Those guys wanted to go to lala land.

Somebody tell me why anyone wants to live out there?

Find it strange there is no noise on Mook.

I don't think there's cap space to sign Mook, even if it is for a sign and trade.

Celtics were trying to work sign and trades with Kyrie and Big Al don’t see why Mook would be any different.

Celtics have not renounced Kyrie, Horford or Mook yet. Celtics haven’t signed Kemba yet

If the **** we came up with in the other thread is legal, Mook can either be re-signed by Boston to stay or sign-and-traded to another team (incoming salary will depend on Mook's new salary). It could be separate from the Rozier-Kemba trade.

Don’t know about the east this year though. Unless giannis suddenly develops a jumpshot. That’s why we need a legit big man that can block shots to defend against giannis and embiid. If we can’t find or trade for one, then we have no chance. Forget the west, there is no team beating AD/Lebron and Kawhi if healthy.

I doubt this is the case, but he could very well be sabotaging the Lakers by occupying them whilst the rest of market dries up.

Lakers gonna hop us with the most titles all because the current group of players in the league are a bunch of bitches who Lebron controls. League is becoming a joke with these Lebron super teams taking place in different cities. Such a clown player trying to chase Jordan’s accomplishments like that.

Interesting to hear this view to be honest, the league is bigger than ever (especially internationally) and everyone is making money hand over fist.

There are obviously a number of structural issues that could be addressed, but I would be pretty surprised if there was another lockout. Unless you think players think the share of BRR should be much higher?
