Lol the sixers are going nowhere
Was just the usual game against them 3-1 ft advantage and then we put em out down the stretch.
Embiid saving his shooting % at the end there was just icing.
Brog and white smokin.

Over almost 20 years on this Board, I have always been one of the guys who has gone after the plastic people who gave up in GTs way too early in games & were constantly negative. Joey Biscuit is much better lately.
Last night, &, in a few other recent threads, I have become extremely annoyed with Tatum’s prolonged periods of very poor play in multiple games (in contrast to consistently displaying his truly enormous MVP talent in innumerable other games). It just pisses me off because we don’t win #18 without him playing like the MVP he hopefully will be the majority of most games. And I really want that **** banner.
The End. Anyone who has a problem with that can pound sand. I DNGAF.
PS I was one of the first here to point out his unique talent & have raved about him in countless threads since he has been a Celtic & how he has evolved.
Listen up Comedian lol. (I put in the little ‘lol’ because I so much want to be just like you. NOT.)
My critique of Tatum of late has been based on his play - NEVER PERSONAL.
On the other hand, when I have critiqued #7 much more often, it has been based on his play (TOV & selfishness VS elite scoring ability), AND his history of a couple of intolerable & unforgivable anti-Semitic behaviors which makes him personally despicable to me. Regardless, I want him to play well to increase the likelihood that my team wins the banner.
And, if you or anyone has a problem with ANY of that, I ALSO DNGAF & pound sand.
BTW, those last 24 second stats you recently posted are truly remarkable.
I did not realize JT was that far ahead of the field.

Could be. I will make my judgment about where JT stands in the pantheon of Celtic legends a few years from now. He is an incredible talent & what he has accomplished in his first 5 1/2 seasons is mind blowing. He could indeed rank well ahead of my favorite athlete in any sport. I have posted this before.
Excellent point Ex. How many people thought T-Mac (who never won a playoff series) was in a different tier than PP after 5 years? I do think Tatum has surpassed Pierce already individually and as a team leader at this early stage of his career but was lucky to be drafted by a Celtics organization that was first class unlike the shite show it was in PP’s first 5 years.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I don’t understand Embiid’s need to flop. He already has the physical advantage not too many players possess.
Stupid refs keep rewarding him and Harden.

Could have won last night without a last second shot just by giving White and Brogdan a couple more minutes each.

All these years and the story of Embiid is still the same - he still gets gassed in games. Embiid knows he should be out there, he just can't do it as the game progresses.

And Paul Pierce was incredibly lucky that after demanding a trade that ainge was able to pull off kg and ray Allen to keep him in Boston. The organization is much more stable know than it was in pierces early years but pierces immaturity was pretty glaring.
I say this as a huge Pierce fan also

It goes without saying that we all critique players, even in wins. It's all good man. Just a little bit of ribbing. Happens to me. Happens to everyone. Just let it roll off.
As it relates to Tatum, I get your concern but you've been around long enough to know that every game won't go perfectly. Every win will not be the same. And sometimes guys just have off games or off stretches; including our best players. Nobody plays more minutes than Tatum. Sometimes the shot just isn't there. But the glass half-full approach would be that he found other ways to contribute to winning. He grabbed 13 board. Dished out 6 assists. Played defense. And then when the game was on the line, he delivered in spite of his shooting before that. That's the mark of a great player. I don't need to tell you of all people that Paul has had games like that. JT's earned enough benefit of the doubt to believe that his shot will come back. And how about the depth of this team? That was a big issue last year. Bench probably played better than the starters last night. That's promising for where we're headed.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Arguing with some NBA fans the other day about Embiid being elite and my point was if he were truly elite,he would be in shape instead of looking like he was lugging a piano on his back as he ran up and down the court.
I mean, have you ever seen him beat anyone down the floor?

Fine by me. The soft whistle is going to disappear in the playoffs and out of habit they'll just be rolling around on the floor looking like **** while the game is being played around them.

That was more of a generic gamethready negative comment. It was some of the other stuff over the course of the game that was so absurd and over the top, that I had to engage, and I usually don’t even bother lol.

I agree that Paul had some immaturity issues to work through, BUT BUT BUT…
1) He was totally correct to demand some real players to help him compete after wasting 9 years w garbage around him; and
2) He was far from lucky during his first 9 years playing with no real help. Had he been given KG when Kobe was given Shaq in 2000, Paul & the Celtics would arguably have 2-3 more banners!
