It was almost like a scheme you see against a zone, but they just stuck Smart at the nail, so instead of him being the open catch and shoot guy, he got the ball 15 feet out, and they played 4 on 3, with Al and Jaylen in the corners.

That’s not true. Joe doesn’t make adjustments according to some

My main issue with Joe was his refusal to play D White down the stretch of games. I do still think he needs a #2, former HC type assistant that can make his life easier. We miss that with Stoudamire gone.

I don't think he's Steve Nash, but a lot of head coaches are only as good as their assistants, and I think Joe can sometimes be held back by his lack of good assistants
One of my gripes last night was that challenge call. There was nothing to be gained from it. The foul wasn't a momentum swinger and it wasn't saving anyone of the closing lineup from foul trouble.

Iirc, there was a shooting foul called on Al when he contested a Bogdonovic 3 and there was no contact. Could have used it there. Although Bogi did miss 2 FTs I think.

No way Cs losing to Miami without Herro and Dipo.

The Heat did the Cs a favor by taking out the Bucks.

Herro could be back by the middle or end of that series. He went out on the 16th with a 4-6 week timeframe to return.

That's not what I read.

Here:
https://www.nba.com/news/heats-tyler-herro-undergoing-surgery-likely-out-until-nba-finals

Herro said the extent of his rehabilitation likely meant he could return closer to the NBA Finals rather than the conference finals.

“That’s the hope,” Herro said. “Get to the finals and I can get back for that.”
