Stevens and wenyen are my binkies. Walsh isn’t gonna play, brisset just a tad too established for me, Banton doesn’t inspire me and svi is (probably) just worse Pritchard/hauser

I agree on Stevens and Wenyen. I think Svi will be better than people think.

It would be real helpful if one of Brissett, Stevens or Wenyen really shined as a PF and carved out a useful role.

If svi hits it would be great, he can more of a Fournier type guy rather than a pure shooter, can handle some, pass and create. He just doesn’t have a clean path to playing time as much as the 3/4’s

Memphis says no. They might’ve said yes before the Clarke injury but they need him now.

You rolling with Walsh or multiple binkies?

I like Walsh's potential a lot but for this season I'm rolling with Oshae if I had to pick one, but I'm leaving soft spots for Svi and Wenyen. Hauser has been around too long for me to make him a binky.

Walsh is beyond binkie at this point, I’m not even going to bet anyone because id risk being on the site ever again!

Wen, Stevens, Neem and Brissy are on my radar right now. I love defenders and hype players! If you got a motor, you have a friend in me! There are so many guys i feel like I’m going to be mad at Joe over it’s not going to be funny! Brad tried to make up for hurting me by bringing in guys i love to root for! I’m still hurt but he knows the way to my heart!

That's where I'm at with my interest in the end of the bench mob is they're all high energy, motor guys and I can find love for anyone like that! Once Smart was gone it opened up a big place in my heart for sure.

My prediction is..

Sixers get: Brogdon
Clippers get: Harden
Blazers get: assets from Sixers and/or Clippers

There would perhaps be other pieces involved, but I would think this could be the general framework..since Brogdon (you would think) will get moved, Harden wants to go to the clippers and this way the sixers get a PG to replace Harden.

Sixers will need some other assets in addition to Brogdon, since Brogdon makes less $ than Harden..and because Morey will want a better deal..he won't do it if he think he is simply getting the worse player in the deal..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

That's Xavier Tillman Sr. to you! 8-)

Great guy to have on the Celtics, and just the kind of bull that would fill a need here.

But why does Memphis do this? He's actually in their rotation, if I recall correctly.

One of Morey or LA Clippers is going to have to move big time for a deal like this to happen. Reports are they are as far apart as the Grand Canyon in terms of how they value Harden.

There is no market for James Harden. LA Clippers best move is to just keep playing it out and hope that James Harden causes enough trouble Philly that Morey really lowers his asking price.

Other than 3-point shooting (20 percent last season, 27 percent previous), he does so many things well as a Bench Big,
worth a couple of Seconds for sure.

76ers cap sheet is pretty clean next year. They're holding off on extending Maxey so they can count him at the cap hold next year vs. an extension number. I don't think they'll want the second year of Brogdon in any deal.

One reason why I expect Brogdon to end up on the Clippers. It's a dangerous game but I think Morey is fine with the Sixers crashing and burning this year with James Harden then having the potential for two max slots next year. Don't know if Embiid is on board with that plan.

Draft Bronny, sign Lebron.

Seriously though I suppose there are worse plans. Target guys in the Paul George, Siakam, Leonard camp in FA, retain Maxey, get a lotto pick to trade on top of it. If they get something for Harden to bridge the gap, all the better. I mean, it kind of stinks as a plan but there are worse ones lol.

Morey will be super disappointed when he finds out just how much FA draw Philadelphia is.

There's been speculation that Embiid will wind up in New York, but if Philly can add an impact player or two alongside him,
and a high Draft Pick, I could see them fielding an interesting team for 2024/25.

I mean I don't agree with this but I'm never going to underestimate the Heat. They will play us tough.

Heat can still beat the Celtics because Heat culture is a real thing. However, on what planet is Herro better than Jrue, especially when that entire board wanted to trade Herro and picks for Jrue. I mean at least this guy gave the Celtics the slight edge with KP over Lowry lol.

Return to Boston Celtics
