When people are thinking of trades, they need to ask themselves one question...

Could he stay on the floor against Cleveland?

If the answer is "no", we shouldn't be interested.

As mentioned in the other thread, I really think we are looking at a IT/Jaylen/Hayward lineup. Then look to bring in another player to pair with Horford in the front court. A player that compliments him well. Then Tatum off the bench, playing both the 3 and 4.

What about Crowder and Bradley + future non BRK/LAL first or Rozier for Faried and Gary Harris?

Ugghhhh....Gary Washburn on Nesn right now saying Ainge should flip Jae for a second round pick to clear salary. I know Boston isn't dealing from a strong point but still you should be able to at least get a semi protected first for Jae.

New Orleans has a 2 million dollar trade exception, send Rozier into that, renounce it, "max" Hayward and look for trades that upgrade the roster instead of looking for trades that clear salary.

The Clippers have a 7 million dollar trade exception, they could absorb Jae into it, we waive the 6.8 million TE, or use part of it and waive the rest.
