I'm happy with Fournier. Losing Theis like this was brutal.

Sigh. We'll see what happens in the off season, but this roster is really unbalanced and kind of a mess. Doesn't look to have an identity

TT must be so happy right now.

Looks like Kemba and Jaylen weren't lying when they said they love TT.

TT gonna lose minutes to Kornet and Wagner.

That doesn't leave room for a buyout does it?

At first I thought it was a solid move because Theis is an UFA this summer and didnt want to pay him, so I get just getting something back in return. I thought Mo had another year on his deal and was going to be a RFA in 2 summers. But Mo is also an expiring deal because his final year wasnt picked up and he is also a UFA.

So was the Theis move strictly just to get under the tax? If so that seems like a move that is a sign you're conceding the season. But if you're going to do that, why get a half a season rental on Fournier? It just seems like two counterproductive moves there.

I posted earlier.

Coming into deadline 2 team had 2 directions.

Try and Win now, or do a soft rebuild for the future.

What does Danny do?

1)Break up the TPE on an EXPIRING DEAL for a player who is doesnt play defense and probably wont resign next year ruining the TPE

2) In the process of doing that, brings in a player who will not propell the team into the upper eschelon of the NBA

3) also that same player will slow the growth of our 2 recent lotto picks

4) has to salary dump a theis for a worse player because he needs to get under tax.

Danny **** this team big time.

Ya again, I get going in either direction. You want to get a rental in Fournier and maybe make another move to try and at least compete with Philly and MIL, I get that. Or you want to concede on the year and focus on getting under the cap and thinking about next year, I get that as well.

The thing I dont get is the mix of both. You also dont even leave a roster spot for a buy out guy. Im really trying to wrap my head around the moves today, I just cant.

Dumping Theis in this manner is just awful. I can't give Ainge credit for getting Fournier but losing Theis. This isn't good enough.

Gafford and Hutchinson would have been better than Wagner.

Aldrige sucks lol. I want Otto Porter as a buyout candidate to add wing depth and at least be an NBA caliber player off the bench

I hate these POS.

Should hate Ainge more.

Pat Riley has bent Danny over and consistently spanked him for well over a decade now.

The Heat is what the Celtics should strive to be as an organization. Such a waste.

He pussied out on Lowry and got old fat Oladipo lol

Poor Thies, guy works his butt off and is on a reasonable contract...gets shipped for peanuts, while Giggles Walker bricks threes and plays no D for 35M. Tough business.

Just goes to show how insanely Celtic fans overrated Theis. Celtics fans had him in Springfield and he gets traded for Mo Wagner..

Yup. I think I also took one of your famous verbal spats because Danny managed to save that situation with a tpe. Which he just blew on an expiring contract.

It doesn't matter. No one realistically believes this team is winning. I just didn't think they would be so bad that you wonder if they even have the pieces to win ever.

Lol this whole forum thought for years that winning 18 was as easy as thinking we could.

Not how this HARD ASS LEAGUE works.

Glad yall woke the **** up. This isn't the NFL. You can't get lucky. This isn't the MLB, you can't moneyball this ****.

Seems like that anger should be directed at danny Ainge lol. Dude **** it all up. It’s a players league now and danny still thinks he’s in charge.

If he keeps it up no doubt Tatum is walking in 4 years if not requesting a trade sooner.

What anger? I'm happy this trash forum is about to DIE. LOL.

It's my birthday weekend, I got Courtside seats with your girl for next month and my record label just offically launched. Wtf would I be angry about?

JUST LAUGHING AT ALL THE CROW RAINING DOWN ON THIS FORUM. ALL THOSE SHATTERED DREAMS OF 18 BEING RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. WRONG.

BLACK LIVES MATTER LOL.
