Watch Rico go off in the 2nd half to silence doubters.

I don't know who the dozen are, but I know one of them is Filipowski...

Fire Brad.. 8-)

I think defense is a big reason why we passed on Flip. He was a very bad defensive prospect.

Scheierman was a poor defensive prospect too, but it's easier to hide a poor defensive wing than a poor defensive big. A poor defensive big can really hurt your defense. Brad has preferred putting bigs on the roster who are good defenders/rim protectors (Al, KP, Tillman, Grant, Time Lord, KP, Kornet etc.) so Flip doesn't fit that.

We've also had wings (like Hauser) who were poor defenders before Boston but we got them to be better defenders so perhaps Brad thought we could do same with Baylor..we haven't had the same luck with taking poor defensive bigs and turning them into good defenders.

Also, Scheierman is a better shooter than Flip.

Also, Flip slid in the draft because rumor has it he had some bad pre-draft workouts and there was maybe some concerns about his girlfriend..Brad steers away from players with off court red flags..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Baylor going 1 for 9 from 3 in a SL half is something else

Filipowski killin it this summer. He'd look good on Celtics this year as a yin/yang with Queta.

Brad has a type and he does not like those type of bigs. Tall, good shooting but less athletic laterally.

True, neither he nor Queta are good guarding the perimeter.

Well, brad did say rico should try not to do too much. In my opinion, it's not just the too much. It's the shot selection and shot making.

Baylor 1-10. He never gets set when he shoots. Way too inconsistent with his shot. Truly a bad shooting performance in summer league.

DJ Steward played for Maine. He's very streaky but can really score. Probably too small to make it in the NBA though. Steward and Davison were a potent G league backcourt combo.

I think that's a bit unfair because if he could guard the perimeter, he be a borderline all star.. How many bigs can do all of those things?

I normally corner myself on not being reactionary and giving players a shot but I have absolutely zero interest in Baylor ever playing a regular season minute.

I don’t know how he’s survived this long.

Filipowski had the girlfriend/family weird situation not Baylor

I'm losing interest in next season by the minute. Hugo is the only guy on the roster worth watching on a regular basis. Pritchard will score a ton but we are so devoid of fornt court talent, I honestly hope they load manage Brown/White because they are going to be a high injury risk with such a workload.

Do we have a shooting coach? If so, he should be attached to Baylor. It's ridiculous.

I didn't even realize that is the same Stewart. Yeah, nice talent but too slight. Nice to see him getting another chance tho. Does he look more filled out to you?
