I'm not a Boogie hater like half this board (I actually like him), but watching Gentry open the lane and use Mirotic as a stretch 4 has been eye-opening. I watched Mirotic in Chicago because I lived there. They tried to space the floor a bit too. But he looks like a completely different player in New Orleans. If I'm New Orleans I explore trading Boogie for an elite defensive wing with length.
Lack of length is the main reason NOLA will get slaughtered against GSW if they go on to win this Portland series. They just won't have the length to defend. A starting lineup of Rondo, Jrue, (Kawhi?), Mirotic, and AD is pretty darn good. Boogie goes to someone who loves having a low-post presence in San Antonio and Pop, and the Pels get to keep AD and become maybe the best defensive team in the league. Not sure Pop would do this, but the NOLA reporters say Boogie has been great in that locker room.
