If the Nuggets continue to suck, this is SGA's MVP to lose.

20-shot advantage + 21-pt advantage from 3. Hard to win against that. Love how connected and active OKC is on defense. Team full of actual dogs. No need to fake bark.

It's not your fault. ORL just doesn't have enough firepower in the end. They had no business keeping that close. Love their fight.

Shai just dropeed 39pts on 65 percent shooting. Making 5 3’s and getting 3 steals. Now that’s efficient. Right now on mvp, i have Jokic, SGA, Giannis, Tatum in that order.

Butler in Dallas is a bad fit. Butler in Houston is a really good match. Not sure what Riley's asking price would be considering Jimmy is an expiring they don't seem to have any intention of re-signing for the max.

Yeah, what happened to Luka?

16 pts in 40 minutes.

Luka's offense is allegedly way better than Tatum's offense, right?

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/12/10/sports/baseball/rocky-colavito-dead.html

In his first game as a Yankee, he hit a three-run homer in his second at-bat against the Washington Senators before a sparse Yankee Stadium crowd of 11,503.

In August, he pitched two and two-thirds innings in relief against the Tigers in the first game of a doubleheader, taking over in the fourth inning with Detroit ahead, 5-0. He yielded no runs and one hit and got the victory when the Yankees rallied to win, 6-5. He hit a home run in the second game of a Yankee doubleheader sweep.

But Colavito’s short Yankee stint was otherwise unremarkable. He hit five home runs but batted only .220. When the Yankees signed him, he was unsure about his future and asked that they release him once the season was over. They did so, and he decided to retire.

More TOs (6) than FGs or assists (5 each).

But he did get 4 steals.

All offense no D won’t win you championships. Plus he’s also a chucker and complains more than JT.

Yup still better than JT. JT had a 15pt, 16pt, 17pt and 18pt games this season on horrible efficiency. Just stop it with that lol. I say they are evenly matched. With Luka better on offense, and JT better on defense.
SGA is better than both of them though. Its between jokic, SGA and Giannis at this point. Brunson being a dark horse.

Just one day after singing praises for Luka you're already throwing him under the bus?

SGA is just more efficient than JT, but not necessarily better than JT.

Only Jokic is better than JT right now.

Giannis can't shoot like JT, so you can't say he's better than JT.

Lol. I’m not throwing him under the bus. Its just laughable when guys argue that JT is better than him on offense. They are miles apart. Being a complete player, JT is better because he plays D. On offense, Luka is better than JT at everything minus dunking of course lol.

Look at Giannis’ numbers man. The dude is consistently putting up outrageous numbers night in, night out. Only Jokic is better.

I'm not saying JT is better than Luka on offense.

What I disagree with is you saying they are miles apart.

JT has all the offensive tools, he can shoot from anywhere and can find the open man when doubled or triple teamed.

Even dribbling the ball is now one of JT's strengths.

The problem with JT is he's not efficient.

If you're equating inefficiency with inability then you're way off.

So tell me, what can Luka do, on offense, that JT can't do?

That's where you have it wrong.

No doubt Giannis puts up great numbers, but that's another story.

What we're talking about here is who's better in terms of ability.

Is Giannis a good FT shooter or 3pt shooter?

Giannis is not the complete package when it comes to offense because he's not good at shooting.

Again, inefficiency is not equal to inability.

JT has average handles. Just watch him try to dribble inside. He gathers the ball too early when there is a defender, then its euro stepping. That’s why he misses a ton of layups. You don’t get enough lift if you euro step your way to the basket. JT can’t just stop on a dime and shoot a midrange. No floaters. If its not euro stepping inside, its a 3pt shot. He has no mid range game at all. Everytime he post up, its either a turn around fade away, or a one legged fade away. He even does fade aways against smaller unathletic guys like strus. He makes it hard for himself. He’s 6’10 jeez. Just do a straight up jumpshot. Nobody is blocking him lol. Plus luka can bully anyone inside. Pump fake, use the board, do floaters. More like what Celtic killer Jimmy Buckets does. Pump fake, and shoot a midrange or floater, or bait a foul.

Return to Boston Celtics
