Will Danny open up to press or is he still required to maintain silence until July 6th.?

Good question, I have no idea. I'm guess he won't speak publicly until things are finalized.

I think we can get Al to $20M+ starting, Theis to $4M, Edwards to $2M and still have the tax MLE to use.
Hard to give Al his number and still use the non-tax MLE. We'll go over tax line.

Man, how disappointing will it be if we pull off the S&T but still don’t get Al back...

I hate to sound like a jerk, but do we want Morris back? Maybe we can sign and trade him as well? You think Kyrie and Jaylen really just want to be a package deal somewhere?

Celtics

I'd counter offer Yabs (or Langford) + Memphis pick + a Second round pick for Sabonis.

I'd make an offer to the Hawks for Alex Len if the Pacers wouldn't bite.

The girz pick is more valuable than Sabonis.

This "meetings" mean nothing

According to KD it meant everything when he decided to go to GS

Golden state was a 73 win team with perhaps a 60-62 win talent level returning plus KD when they had to get rid of Bogut/barnes. They had already won a title. Joining such a team, makes sense to have a meeting to see how he would fit in and be accepted....

To join the rebuilding Knicks , a meeting would be an embarrassment since Knicks won very few games and just down't have that much proven talent yet. So, no meeting with players needed.

I just see him signing with Warriors but he could easily leave for Knicks if he thought they could get great after next year. He doesn't need a powerpoint presentation to know their assets from KP trade/revenue stream. His agent probably already has informed him of everything.

I think he stays but if Knicks had gotten Zion, it wouldn't have shocked me if he had bolted for the Knicks. I wouldn't want to leave a team that could be competitive to make the NBA Finals without me and win it all -- granted Warriors probably can't do that next year vs Lakers -- to the Knicks unless I thought Knicks had great shot.

But it's KD's life and as much as he talks about money at times, I don't think that will be the overriding concern. Folks will say it was if he stays but ultimately if he stays I think it is mostly about the talent levels between the teams.

Woj says it’s for the MLE. Normally I would say that’s a lot of work for another 5 million, but we are incredibly thin at the 5 right now with no Horford. My dream is that it is for Horford and the MLE, but we will see.

Does the BAE still exist too?

The room and vet mins as our only tools really sucks so I think the legwork is justified.

It still exists. IDK if we can use it. We didn't use one last year.

BAE Value -- 2019/20 = $3,619,000

The bi-annual exception is only available to teams that over the cap and under the tax apron. It can also only be used once every two years.

Screw the KD decision, when is Afam's live presser with Abby Chin?

Err, I hope, that joke wasn't 10 pages too late...
