Where am I off base? Philly is essentially trading Butler and Reddick for Horford which is a huge L. Milwaukee is losing Brogdan....The Raps could lose Kawhi. Butler is going to a treadmill in Miami and Indy mildly improved.....I don't see where we are taking some kind of hit

This is accurate. Some people don't look at the teams. I like Philly, but not better than with the dynamic Butler.

The East will come down to these next signings, possible trades, and getting the roster right.

Everyone is worse. LOL

You guys know they got Richardson too right? He fits with Simmons much better than Jimmy.

Offense should be fine.

I actually don't understand the offensive side of the ball

Celtics will have to renounce Morris unless they can do a 3 team sign and trade with Kyrie or Al.

If we resign Morris, we win 10 games less automatically. The entire point was to get rid of the dead weight iso only, veterans. Youth movement time Celtics brother.

I think Fall has a better chance of playing in NBA games next year than Bol Bol. He just doesn't do anything special besides being huge but he can play. He can dunk, rebound, block shots commit a ton of fouls. He is 7'6" and 300lb and is reasonably coordinated.

Alternately go small with Grant and big with Tacko

Pacers are better. Brogdon and Oladipo is a hell of a backcourt if Oladipo is good to go.

Philly got Horford and Richardson, two very good pieces. They're gonna be the best defensive team in the league.

You really think a Harris, Horford, Embiid, Simmons lineup will do well defensively? We will see..

Did I read in this thread somewhere that Hayward has said Timelord has been working hard and looks like a monster (or something like that)? Just curious where that came from if true.

Kind of grinds the gears a bit that Kyrie and Al both getting less than originally reported. Kemba we said 4/121, right? Because that's what I had written on my napkin here..

Yeah that’s why I said fine I guess. It won’t be bad. Horford can shoot and pass. You need to get as much shooting around Simmons as possible, but they lost Reddick so lol.

Add Richardson in there, who's a hell of a perimeter defender. The only weak link is Harris, and even he isn't terrible.

Richardson, Horford, Embiid and Simmons are all big time defenders..so yeah..if they have any issues it will be scoring. They need a Korver type..

4 players and a bunch of min vet guys. I really don't see how that is a favorite.....especially when LeBron is going to be yet another year older

A team with 3 top ten players would not be the favorites in the NBA. Notsureifserious.

The Celtics were the EC favorites this past season. Just saying.

Celtics had zero top 10 players...then basically nobody in the top 30 unless you go generous with Al vs 3 top 10 two top 5 in the whole league. Basically the rest of the league would be banking on catastrophic KD Klay things to happen..
