Harden probably wants out, too.

I've gotten grief for saying the same thing for years but oh well. Clearly can't voice that opinion.

This is the Trade Thread.
Let's leave that discussion for somewhere else.

OK, we get it... you don't agree with BostonCouchGM. Does spamming the board with sarcastic versions of his opinions help? Or does it really just mean everyone else gets to scroll past it twice as much?

Gotta respect Harden for that no? Harden is so good that any team he's on is a contender with even a modicum of roster construction. He knows with just some 3 and Ds around him he can go deep in the playoffs so there's no reason for him to want to leave. HOU is HIS team after all. I still think they can get something decent back in a Westbrook trade.

I've had him on ignore since you requested me to so I don't even see the posts and wasn't aware this was continuing. Wish he'd just ignore me if I bother him so much.

Danny should at least look into one of them. I'd prefer Harden. If Hayward opted in and okayed a trade you could use his salary and throw in some filler to get Harden. Maybe do a Harden and filler for Kemba and Hayward swap and keep Smart as your PG? I don't know. He would definitely make up for Harden being a matador on defense.

However he's probably not leaving. He loves Houston and more specifically the strip clubs there way too much.

2011: went to the WCF

2012: traded to HOU which wasn't a great team that had missed the playoffs three years running and immediately helped them make the playoffs as an 8th seed but lost to his former team OKC which was on its way to the Finals that season, in the first round in 6 games

2013: helped HOU to a 4th seed and lost in first round in six to POR

2014: helped HOU to #2 seed and lost to eventual champions GSW in 6 games.

2016: 2nd round loss to Spurs in six games

2017: took ATG Warriors team to Game 7 in the WCF

2018: 2nd round loss to GSW

2019: 2nd round loss to eventual champion Lakers

If you're only defining "deep in the playoffs" as WCF or Finals then it's been three years.

Pretty sure Mr. Smith has come a long way in his career since then. I'd like to think a longtime poster like yourself you recognize that.

Westbrook...knicks, Orlando, Charlotte teams of that ilk that will hand him the keys and want to sell tix. Maybe even Atlanta with all that talk of a “block buster”

Harden can want to stay all he wants but when Westbrook goes- they need to realize the window is closed and beards going nexts

I'm glad his career is going well, but I didn't deserve the penalty.

You think any of Stevens ECF teams would’ve done better in the west?
