Sounds like youre arguing just to argue and choosing to not read post, per usual.

Sounds like you're playing the man again, per usual

Talking about a non-topic post, you nailed it completely again.

Them: this doesnt solve their shooting issues. Hes an average shooter.

You: Hes shooting 38%! Hes not great, but not bad either.

Your saying the exact god damn thing, disagreeing only because you either a) didnt read or b) are choosing to be argumentative or c) both.

Given your posting history, im leaning towards option c. Also, nothing screams insecurity like running to your rivals board after a trade to argue.

Solid move for Philly. Celtics will be fighting for 3rd or 4th seed.

Trader Danny has become a binkie lover. I'm shocked Danny didn't try to make an addition to compete this year. The current team isn't getting out of the second round...less talent than Toronto, Philly and Milwaukee. We are NOT and will NOT be contenders this year.

Certainly frustrating to watch other East contenders make trades for star players which we could've topped. If we don't make it out of the conference this season, Danny needs to go all in on Davis. Trade Tatum, Brown, Horford, and some picks if you have to. Especially if Kawhi resigns with Toronto.

I'm curious to see how Butler's personality meshes with Simmons and Fultz

It doesn't matter if he's league average from 3. That doesn't hurt them at all imo. You still have to guard a league average shooter. You think teams just gonna pack the paint and let Butler shoot open 3s? Come on now, that's a poor mathematical play.

Btw, I'd expect Butler to stay. The Sixers post Hinkie coddle their players to a fault. Brown does this as well. Add Brand, a former player who will give Jimmy whatever he wants, and the fact that this city will seriously embrace him to the mix and I don't see him going anywhere.

Celtics play to their potential, we still win the East and reach Finals. Celtics play the way we have to start the season, we're lucky to reach ECF.

Regardless of whether or not the Sixers have Butler.

Interesting to see Saric on the move - the claim has always been that he has playmaking and passing ability that have been squashed in Philadelphia.. I don't know if Minnesota is the place for those to flourish - but it wouldn't surprise me to see him dealt again. Covington is the culture/chemistry/fit piece.

This trade makes Philly much better today. This trade also closes Philly’s window to 2-3 years. Butler on a 5/190 deal is terrible.

Also, Butler may kill Fultz.

Yet Marcus Smart stats suck too.

Rob Co averages 1.8 steals and 1.8 blocks per game and shoots 39% from three point land

If he sucks , Marcus sucks, and if that contract is bad, so is Smart's.

Where do you want to go. We can play it. I am a celtics fan mind you.Just funny to see fans of any team being overly favorable to one side by foolish discredit of a player.

While I think Butler certainly helps Philly this season, I don't think he would have made a significant upgrade in our short-term and long-term situation (would make it worse maxing him).

I like the move for Philly though. Would've been against trading Brown + whatever it took to get him and I'm not even a fan of Jaylen's game at the moment.

Kawhi is a different matter. Not sure what the price (for us) would've been. Might've been too high for a rental?

Nope. If we play to our potential, we're out in the second round. If we don't, we're out in the first. We and, apparently, Danny have way overrated our talent. Kyrie, a declining Horford, an injured Hayward and a bunch of mediocre young guys isn't going to get it done.

RobCo's advanced stats were good last season and he's been improving every year in the league.

Thibs couldn't get Mirotic to demand a trade, so he settled for Saric?

The Wolves also got Jerryd Bayless in the deal.

The reality is that Ainge has trade chips, not pieces for future,

so prepare for Brown, Tatum , Rozier, Smart to be packing soon , not all of them but maybe 1-3 of them

Fortunately that contract could be an albatross as early as next year considering the dudes health issues.
