Tate has some fans on this board. He fits the bench position Brad wants to improve.

Would need to be like 3 for 1 trade, or maybe get a third team involved.

Doesn't. Needs to be something like Svi-Banton-Stevens. Can take on Boban-Holiday into the TPE to make player counts work if necessary

Tate schmate….I am not super excited…kind of a smaller, older Brissett. That said if we can add a guy like that without giving much it never hurts to have another playable guy.

Get Houston on the phone first, then the old switcharoo, and voila! -- Brad brings Tari Eason to Boston. 8-)

We know the wizards are really bad on defense, right?

Well, I just took a look at where Kispert ranks on their team in defensive rating and defensive BPM. It's bad. Real bad. He's like basically last in both categories out of like 20 guys they have played this season.

I might be out on him.

But maybe he can learn to defend here? He is pretty quick and has decent strength..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Tate is only 6-4.

Not sure if the Celtics are really interested in him.

Brissett will be more useful.

Man, if Cedi Osman fit in the TPE it'd be a no brainer.

-Spurs tanking and looking to move him
-Brad prefers trading for vets who are further in their development (age 27+)
-Big Wing
-Shooting 40.8% on the season on catch and shoot 3's
-Decent defender
-Can create his own shot (and create shots for teammates) off the dribble decently well
-Has some playoff experience

Since he doesn't fit the TPE, it's tricky. We'd have to throw San Antonio a package including 3 of our end of the bench minimum contract guys..plus draft compensation (since those players wouldn't likely be useful to the spurs..

100% in on Tari Eason all day every day. As for Jae'Sean Tate, Brad has had a hard-on for this kid for a while. This news is no surprise at all. Fits the big wing Brad is looking for. He may be 6'4 but he's long as hell and think. He can body up bigger guys for sure.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

He is begging to play for a top team, imo.

I think defense is the problem with Lonnie Walker.

Maybe that's why he can't stick with one team.

There's a bigger chance Brad gets Tate than Walker.

You guys want Beef Stew of the Pistons?

Could be a good replacement for Al.

PP, Kornet, Svi, Banton, and Lamar for Stew works.

Cs have to add picks of course.

I do like him…that trade though leaves some holes and is there a chemistry issue?
Kornet has been so good…I’d hesitate a bit

I'm not really expecting it to happen.

But if Brad really wants Beef Stew, that's how it can be done.

I think Brad stands pat and just waits for the buyout market.

Return to Boston Celtics
