I like Luwawu...he could move up boards pretty fast IMO.
Where are you seeing tape on Luwawu? I don't know anything about him.
Luwawu has Denver written all over it.Luwawu has same agent as Jokic, played for the same team, they have a history of drafting players from Adriatic league, have good connections there.Amazing size and athleticism for a wing, already a good defender standing 6-7 with 6-11 wingspan(you can find somewhere its even bigger like 7-2, i've seen him live and those are some long arms). He’s a good spot up shooter, a versatile potential 3-and-D player.Improved on offense this season(39% for 3) but still could make strides there and improve on both sides, his TO are high due to high usage, probably wont have as much in lesser role.I expect him to come to USA and workout for teams before draft. Not sure about combine.
Bender kinda makes sense for you guys. Not sure how much you guys like him or know about him and his situation. He has contract but has NBA-outs in pretty much every year of that contract.I still think he might stay one more year overseas, you probably wouldn't mind because you would probably stay competitive, and get him on rookie scale next year.Suns might shy away from him and draft someone more ready to contribute right now because they are desperate to get back to relevancy, and not eager to wait on lottery rookie. But him and Towns frontcourt would be deadly, they would complement each other nicely. Most think of him as some Porzingis-like prospect but beside both being tall, white shooters there is not much similarities in their game.He is though, like Porzingis boom or bust prospect.Bender upside is Draymond Green lite, he is not projecting as go-to 1st option on offense whom you just give the ball let him get you buckets, or volume scorer, but more as jack-of-all-trades forward, a playmaking 4 which all teams kinda search for, so he models his game to Toni Kukoc. He could eventually (when his frame fills out) play C vs backup units giving incredible amount of versatility to your lineups.
I like Luwawu. Getting him 12-16 with the Mavs pick would be a really nice get for us. I'd consolidate other picks to get him, too. Great prototype 2-3. He has a lot of tools and I think Stevens and the Celtics can maximize that.
Big no on Bender though. I'm not touching that guy.
