In case anyone was skeptical of the Brooklyn connection:

I mean he’s not going to win **** in Brooklyn and he’s one of the most unlikeable Celtic so...yeah, **** him. Passing on a potential team of Davis, Horford, Hayward, and 1 of Tatum/Brown.

Still want the Celtics to go in for Davis if they could get a legit point guard like Russell or Conley

Disgusting take I just saw. Not sure if they're being serious. Blaming the fans for Kyrie leaving? Are you **** kidding me?!

Hallelujah! I will forever fantasize that I helped just a tiny bit to drive him out, like the old lady who peed in the ocean.

Hopefully the last few holdovers finally accept Kyrie is gone. He was clearly gone after i saw him in the last couple games of the Bucks series.

**** trading for AD. You need to keep Tatum and Brown now and just pray you can hit on these draft picks and they show tremendous growth. No point losing everything you built for a rental that doesn’t even want to be here and will 100% be gone in a year.

This rebuild is already heading for a failure, no need to completely nuke it.

Ainge tried and failed. So did Stevens(this season). It is what it is.

Sorry, but the treatment Kyrie received from Celtics fans throughout the year and after the playoff loss was some of the worst and most unfair treatment I've ever seen a star player receive from his home fans....and Danny and Brad just quietly let him get destroyed in the media and online. It shouldn't have been up to Marcus Smart to come to the rescue. Danny and Boston fans screwed up and now we'll pay the price.

I hate Kyrie, but our future is looking pretty dim without him. Best chance to keep AD if we landed him. Need talent like his to win championships. This current roster isn't attracting free agents, and in a few years guys like Tatum and Brown may not carry the same trade value.

Not building a contender out of guys like Hayward/Brown/Tatum.

Facts. Not sure how anyone can be happy that we are going to lose our all star PG for nothing. This is a huge failure by our guys. No other way around this.

From Brightest Future and “contending for 10 years” to this.. just wow

I’m happy to lose Kyrie Irving the player.

I’m really disappointed we will lose Kyrie Irving the asset.
