Disappointing. Under .500 in SL play. Doesn't represent the Champs.

Watson the only bright spot. He has a knack for the ball and good instincts. Walsh's ceiling is probably Oshae Brissett. Dude has zero game and feel. Hopefully Baylor has been hungover the last two weeks and isn't actually this bad.

Baylor shot like ****, but he was good. I’m not worried about the shot.

The Summer League is where mediocre teams and announcers go to die...

No Harper Jr this game? Not gonna lie, it seems weird that we sat our guys out so much this summer league..

Peterson, Harper, JD, Ramsey are barely even in the league. Heck, Harper doesn't even have a contract beyond training camp..and Ramsey doesn't even have a training camp contract with anyone lol.

Peterson and JD just have a 2-way..

These guys should have all been in there every game..

Yeah, with KP out until the middle of the season, I think it will be Watson who will get the rotation minutes as a small ball 5 or as JT's backup.

Watson was good. So was Queta. And Springer (although you dismiss it). Walsh was disappointing, yes. But I don't know what you were expecting out of a no. 30 pick.

What you said about Watson, Queta and Springer, sure that’s all true. They def showed some stuff.

I love a summer league for irrational exuberance to get all psyched up on the hype of the unknown. I remember the SL where Kelly Olynyk was a cross between Dirk & Kevin McHale, okay!! lol, I remember when Mark Blount was the “Shaq of the Shaw’s!!!” Okay!!

And I didn’t get no irrational exuberance whatsoever this year, that’s all. Watson and Springer can still be good tho, but I didn’t get no hype out this summer league group.

Rico's defense will determine if he gets rotation minutes or not.

All in all a fairly disappointing summer league. I think Brad missed on JD, Jordan and Baylor. Watson has pitential

I'm sure if the Celtics were worried about that, they would have had him play more games.

For me, Springer was like a mid-first round pick for the team this year. If he and Queta can contribute at the next level, that would be a huge benefit to add to Tillman. That's three players. Scheierman is going to take some time to adjust, but we should have a happy extended Sam.

The team already had enough talent, just needed some depth. Now, if Watson can step into that utility role, great, if not, the 15th spot is still open for a vet signing later.

So basically JD, Walsh, Scheierman.... were not going to get minutes anyway.

Having said that, yeah it would have been nice to have an explosive young rookie on the summer team. The guys I wanted in the first round were all gone by 30th pick, so Scheierman is OK as he'll have an NBA skill with his shooting eventually. Just needs to get up to speed. He may be a bust, he may be a Chris Mullin, too early to tell.

How will he be fine? He can’t even defend summer league guys. You can’t play him in an nba game

We could use a 6’ 8”-6’10” athlete to run the floor, rebound and defend

This is where work ethic, mental toughness, etc, come into play. Both Walsh & Scheierman showed really good flashes, but also some serious inconsistencies / deficiencies. They both say all the right things about working hard and getting better, etc, it's up to them to do it. Both need to get both stronger and better at finding their spots on both ends. We don't have to count on them this year, so they have time to get better.
