Herb Jones is more like a 6'7 SF that can't shoot. Love his defense though.

7'0" wingspan, pretty good rebounder, decent interior defender, solid vertical leap, can block some shots so could play some 4 as well..he's a combo forward who has even played some PG, both in youth ranks and at Alabama..really good passer

This draft is already annoying with the celebrity fans/announcer bias. Sucks to see Mobley go to the Cavs too.

why is Mobley considered so good and Wiseman so overrated?? EM is skinnier and actually has a less outside game. He is only moee nimble in my eyes.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Scottie Barnes really stinks. Horrible pick. Kid is all hype. Most overrated prospect I’ve seen in many years.

Wiseman was the no. 2 pick. So he wasn't overrated going into the draft last yr. He just had a rough rookie yeah, partly due to injury, partly due to slow adjustment to NBA game (bigs often take longer to develop) and partly because he just wasn't a great fit with the warriors system.

Not sure how much of a good fit he'd be, but I'd love it if the Celtics drafted Neemias Queta. I'm from Portugal and he'll be the first Portuguese player to be drafted and play in the NBA.

True. they're weak at center but they could go with a small ball lineup with Siakam at the 5. Then go Barnes at the 4, Onunoby at the 3, Trent Jr at the 2, VanVleet at the 1 with Boucher off the bench..that's if Lowry walks..

raptors should be right back in the playoff hunt next yr

wow. bold pick with giddey but i like it.

They now have a 6'9" PG in Giddey and a 6'6" SG in gilgeous-alexander. 2 talented guards that could compliment each other well, age 18 and 22. They've got 2 more picks in 1st round, I figure they'll address the frontcourt next..

This year's playoffs showed us that small ball doesn't work anymore.

Size wins in today's NBA.
