One big surge from JT in March and he'll have a shot at winning MVP this season.

I honestly believe if the Celtics win 65+ games this year then Jayson Tatum should be the MVP in the NBA this year. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. If you don't reward excellence and sacrificing for the betterment of the team then what the hell does most valuable player even mean?

He might not win MVP but he should win another Eastern Conference Player of the Month.

He should at very minimum be deep into the selection process.

Emiib/Jokic/Luka are more valuable to their team, ie their team would be relatively worse without them?

Okay cool well winning 65 games is a **** ton more valuable than winning 55 games.

+150 to (75) is a gain of 225

+472 to +133 is a gain of 339

Unless the math doesnt math in this case.

Tatum plays the Warriors on his 26th birthday. Early game so he can still make it to his bday dinner bash.

Some time during 2024, Tatum passed Jokic and Giannis in most wins and as +/- leader since he was drafted.

He already leads the NBA in minutes and games played (incl. playoffs) during that span.

Grats, JT! Happy birthday! Add it to the collection. This is his 4th PotM IINM.

But save space for the FMVP in June.

I think as long as the Nuggets stay near the top of the West, Jokic will win MVP as a makeup for last season. And I'm fine with that. Tatum's case will look better once he has won a ring, and if that isn't this June, we are all going to blame Jaylen Brown:)

One big surge from JT this March and the MVP is a possibility.

Tatum's only chance to win MVP is if the Celtics stretch this winning streak to 15+ games. Maybe then the media will take notice of Boston's play but even then they'll probably just keep talking about whether the Warriors or the Lakers can make a run instead.

For whatever reason, Jayson Tatum and the coaches didn't listen to me. He didn't stop taking pullup threes lol. He just got more accurate at shooting them. Let's hope this is the norm and it carries over into the postseason. I still love bullyball Tatum though. Punish mismatches whenever possible. Drive and post-up and get fouled. Iso pullups feel like a bailout for the defense sometimes.
