Here's a Hayward S&T scenario I came up with but not sure if either team would do it.
Utah gets: Crowder + Bradley
Celtics gets: Hayward + Rodney Hood + Tony Bradley

It would give the Celtics a solid SG option either off the bench or in the starting lineup to soften the blow of Bradley leaving. It would also create around 8-9M in cap space to sign another FA (maybe Dedmon?). However, losing both Crowder and Bradley means losing too much production from last year so idk if Celtics would want to do it.

For the Jazz, you get two good players who would allow them to compete for a playoff spot with their core of Gobert/Rubio/Ingles.

If you were the Celtics would you do it?
If you were the Jazz would you do it?

Bradley to NOP for first round picks. Then when they stink, they can have their picks back in trade.

That's been a worthwhile move in the past.

Could they do that? I thought they were up against the cap with the Jrue signing. I wouldn't mind considering a swap of AB for Ajinca,

Ajinca has his limitations but he's been a top-15 center per real plus minus each of the last 4 years and his career per-36 line is

14.3 PPG, 10.6 RPG, 1.7 BPG, 50% FG%, 55% TS%, .093 WS/48

For $4.9M this year and $5.3M next year, it feels like a pretty good contract for a back up center with the size to defend guys who give Horford trouble.

Yeah they'd probably have to send out some modest salary somewhere. Would have to check closer they may have a little cap prior to resigning Holiday, depending on his cap hold #.

Seems like one of the most realistic options. NO should jump at that IMO, trade Ajinca and a 6-14 pick.

Maybe Boston thinks they are too good though, hard to say.

Run that by the Utah forum.

I'm sure they'd be cool with it

If you were the Celtics would you do it? Yes, going to likely lose those two players away and Hood is nice, never heard of the other Bradley. Depends on what else is out there.

If you were the Jazz would you do it? Hate to but yes, basically it is trading Hood for Bradley and Crowder. That seems like a good return. Hood was great two season ago but was very disappointing this season. And hurt.

Tony Bradley is Jazz's 2nd first round pick (28th overall, PF/C) this season. I figured they wouldn't want to part ways with another FRP after giving up next year's for Rubio

Avery Bradley seems like a perfect fit for San Antonio. They need a SG. Bradley and Leonard defending would be stifling. Would San Antonio send a first for Bradley? It won't be a great pick but it would be a pick. If I were Danny I would try to make it a 2021 pick and hope they get worse some how.

I would offer Crowder to Sacramento for Skal Labissiere (AKA the guy Danny should have drafted over Yabusele). Then accept their counter offer of Georgios Papagiannis.

Bet with Stillwater Celtics will finish 6th or higher in ECF Standings Regular Season(17-18). [WON]

We aren't getting Gobert or even Hood, let's be honest. The point of trading one of Smart, Bradley, or Crowder is to open capspace and minutes for Brown/Tatum. We don't need to be taking players back that play the same position, I could understand mauybe a young big like Bradley though. At the end of the day I hope Ainge just makes a simple deal sending Bradley out for a protected first, Smart makesmlittle sense to move as he might be the one person you might be able to resign.

Last suggestion I love this trade

Philly In: Avery Bradley and Crowder
Philly Out: Richaun Holmes, Jahlil Okafor, 2 2018 2nds,and Saric

Boston In: Richaun Holmes, 2018 Min 1st (lotto protected) Saric
Boston Out: Avery Bradley and Crowder

Atlanta In: Jahlil Okafor, 2 2018 2nds (BKN and LAC/NYK)
Atlanta Out: 2018 Min 1st (lotto protected).

PHI Board likes it what do y'all think

Here's my deals in order of preference. I'd only do 1 of the 4 maybe 2 if it means we only lose one Bradley, Crowder and Smart.

#1 Smart to Knicks for Hermangomez (may throw in a pick) that would get us a good rebounding cheap young big. Net savings about 2.7 mil.

#2 S&T with Utah for Hayward we give them Jackson And Rozier and we get a 2nd rd. Allows us to deal none of our core bulldogs.

#3 Bradley for S&T for Dedmon. Gives us a REB/Def Big.

#4 Crowder in S&T with Utah for Hayward and Hood.

I don't think Dedmon is signing for less than 4.3 million. I could be wrong.

That Rodney Hood trade doesn't look good for either team.

Bradley/Crowder don't do much for a team that is somewhat far off right now. You're essentially turning Hood (who will be up to get paid soonish) into Crowder (i.e. trading upside for cost control), even though you just paid another do it all/dirty work SF $52M (Ingles). What's the point?

Meanwhile, Hood doesn't complement Boston's personnel (IT, Hayward, etc.)

So apparently Rozier got married to a Jewish woman yesterday and this is in reference to a circumcision. SMDH.

Interesting. I could get comfortable around the Crowder for Tony Bradley part of the deal. Might hold out for the proverbial protected 1st that might become 2 seconds to be added there. More iffy on Bradley for Hood part.
