Let me make it very clear before some clever people come.in here twisting words or agendas based on my past comments.

Davis is good. Hes great. Hes next in line for superstar talent for the game.

I would absolutely love to have him.

But I think it's a huge mistake to trade all those prospects and picks for him already known that A. Hes leaving. His words, not mine, B. It's not getting us over the hump.

If you want to live dangerously and believe ainge can convince him to stay then cool, hell it may even work.

But right now, gun to my head? Let the lakers over pay and have them lose to warriors every year while we get to the finals anyway.

And let me know where he’s going, too. The Lakers arent going to punt a second LeBron season with roll-over cap space and AD isnt leaving a title contender to play with a 36 year old LeBron.

Well isnt it obvious hes coming here or the lakers and that hes made it clear that the lakers are his preferred destination? If he goes to lakers the goal should be to make them give up everything. Not for us to give in and do the same

If he were in the East, they wouldve played in the finals last year.

I'll be suprised if the Warriors stick together beyond this season. KD can opt out of his contract, and should. Klay is a FA. Draymond is a FA after next season (correct me if I'm wrong). Boogie is on a 1 year contract and probably will get offered more somewhere else.

Decent chance KD decides to take his talents elsewhere IMO. If not, I don't think they can pay both Klay and KD? Something has to give with this team lol.

Kyrie would average double digits assists due to Davis’ automatic midrange game. Both players would become even better than what they currently are if they team up.
