The Celtics new “dynasty” could be over before it begins if Ainge isn’t careful about this Kyrie/AD situation. I trust in Ainge. Good Luck!

Janis just to name a couple.

I agree with Jaylen Rose's take. If I'm Ainge, I call Kyrie in to discuss his future in Boston, and if I don't hear the exact tune I want to hear, I'm trading him. If I get the impression that there's even a fair possibility that he'll walk as a free agent, I'm trading him. I'm not risking losing this guy for nothing. He's flaky, and a distinct flight risk in my view.

Is it legal for Kyrie to talk to Rich Paul? My only reference point is the beginning of 'Jerry Maguire' - could he have Rich Paul in his ear telling him to change agents, or suggesting he say something to stir the pot?

I mean, as evidenced by what your own son is doing to the Pelicans.

I think it was you connecting Mannix looking down to the Celtics being fuming. He doesn't really give a ****.

No clue but I don’t believe an agent can communicate with a player not under their agency. It wouldn’t be the agent, rather an intermediary.

That's a tough thing to do but I agree. Wouldn't think less of Danny if he doesn't though, that move would be probably too hard to pull off right now.

From what I have seen he is usually more upbeat and glass half full kind of guy. Didn’t see that tonight. Thats what I saw. Maybe others would say different.
Edit: fuming may be a bit harsh. Don’t see how the front office is giddy right now or didn’t just take a broadside.

Re: Anthony Davis Requests Trade, pt 2
That has to be one of the stupidest statement I’ve read recently. Wtf you want the Celtics to do keep Isaiah Thomas when he’s injured and pay him max dollars to go nowhere? Ainge never promised IT he’s going to keep him long term or pay him. Other gms like the raptors and clippers have done a lot worse recently with fake promises. At least Ainge put Isaiah on a title contending team where the hell did Blake Griffin go and DeRozan to a trending down spurs team? Is the Lakers trying to trade Ingram, Kuzma, and ball about loyalty? Davis himself wanting out, is that loyalty when you still have a year in your contract?

Makes sense.. but no way to enforce if Rich Paul is telling Anthony Davis what his advice to Kyrie would be and Davis is parroting it..
