Hield starts because he has great chemistry with Haliburton and they want to maximise the number of minutes they play together. Hield plays 26 minutes per game and Nesmith 25, the notion that Nesmith is somehow buried on the depth chart behind Hield is just not accurate. Hield is one of the absolute best shooters in the world and on a 18 millions expiring contract, of course they can move him if they want to.

Nesmith at 6'5 can easily be/play the same position. Heild is being out-shot by Nesmith across the board. But that isn't even my main point. Nesmith brings so much more to the table. With energy and defense especially. To date the Pacers are a poor defensive team and Heild is not a defender at all.

You seem weirdly hung up on the fact that Hield is supposedly eating up Nesmith's minutes. Again, Hield plays only 26 minutes per game at a different position, there's plenty minutes from other guys they could reallocate to Nesmith if they wanted to. But they don't. Maybe because (and it pains me to say) Nesmith isn't all that good at NBA basketball. It's not a coincidence if every year of his career, his team has played vastly better with him off than on the court. But I guess the more rational explanation is that Carlisle can't coach. Just like Mazzulla, Udoka and every other NBA coach apparently.

For the first bold "being all that good at NBA basketball" is a bit vague. No one is saying Nesmith is or will be all world good. But clearly is seems people are still underselling him.

And second bold you claim Nesmith's team is better when he is off vs On is lazy logic. Based on that Logic Hauser is possible a top 20 or top 10 player for the past 12 months or so..

And clearly your grudge against me is my dislike for our past 2 coaches. Never did I mention Carlisle as a bad coach but have stated quite a few times he is an exceptional coach overall. I also stated and had hoped Boston would have shown great interest in him. Instead Boston went after Ime, Despite having little coaching experience. Then compounded that mistake with yet another inexperienced hire with No HC experience.

All fine if you are a young rebuilding team perhaps. But Stevens took a quality roster and has continually upgraded it since becoming POBO. So please stop reaching and making false claims about whom I feel is good or not at coaching.

BTW according to posters like you and your regular season winning% as Proof etc.. Coach Joe >> Popp.. Popp is the worst coach.. just look at his record the past 2 seasons..

Who is a better coach, Coach Monty Willliams last year, or Coach Monty this year?? Clearly the previous is so much better. The record proves that..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

The only time they've beaten the Bucks since the Bucks started their run was when Milwaukee was without Khris and the series still went seven games. Since then the Celtics added Kristaps (lol) and lost Grant Williams, a guy who actually gave Giannis problems.

Quite a bit of confidence when we’ve made them look second-rate the last 4 games between us.

Bucks need to worry about the Sixers first.

Celts and Bucks ain't facing each other in the playoffs if the Bucks can't get past Embiid and the Sixers.

For all the talk about how tough the West is, the Celtics, Bucks and Sixers had the the 3 best records in the league last year and are one Minnesota slump away from doing it again this season. That doesn't even include the Heat who are always tough in the postseason.

He keeps getting the reputation of someone who tends to avoid big games. I dunno why.

I would never want a Julius Randle on my team. The definition of empty stats. Losing player.

The Bucks GM is so good. Their teams are always loaded with talent.

72 points given up in the paint by the Bucks. Championship level defense

100%. Still think the Celtics eliminated the third best team last year in the second round.
