If Miami wins the series, are they the first #8 seed to upset the #1 seed since they have had seven games series in the first round? I recall Denver eliminating Seattle back in the mid 90's, but I am pretty sure that was a five game, or even three, game series.

#8 Knicks upset #1 Heat in 1998 but that was a 5 game series too.

We Believe Warriors did it to the Mavs in 2007. Won in six games.

That was not just a random number one seed either, that was a 67 wins Mavs team with the reigning MVP. Probably the biggest upset in a best of seven series in NBA history.

Grizzlies beat the Spurs in 2011 as well. I think that's the list in terms of best of seven series.

Sixers beat bulls when bulls 1 seed. The series where rose when down with acl injury game 1. Than Noah went down in game 3. So it takes a major injury to the 1 seed best player. And another injury to the best defensive player for the bulls to lose.

Spurs got beat by Grizzlies in a 7 gamer, around 2010 (not sure of exact year)

Edit: 6 games

Welp, we were the only team with a chance to close out the series and didn't. I wish I was actually surprised because that would mean this was uncharacteristic of them.... But we all know that isn't true.

Kawhi and PG were bad investments. It sucks too because the Clippers have an owner who is willing to spend to win titles.

Sucks about Kawhi. He really just can’t be healthy. To think He had the world in his hands in 2019.

On another note, I may have slept heavy on The Knicks.

Really embarrassing that an old Lakers team might have more closing ability than this team.

Knicks in same position CS were in last night. Up12, 6 to go. Last 2 minutes theyve been playing the SAME PACE as they have all game long and has kept cavs at bay so far.
Interested to see if they still disregard the clock and play their game. Which the CS should have done last night.
