Seeing the Lakers’ offensive plays makes me sick of ours. A constant 3pt chuckfest, and a bunch of dribbling Isos! Especially late in the games.

Yeah the NBA really needs that June timeslot where it's only going against baseball, which no one watches. Also don't have the Lakers in the Finals.

Of the overall drop in viewing (not accounting for streaming etc) I would love to know what % are diehard NBA fans vs casual fans. I consider myself a diehard, but for the first time in 20 years I have actively avoided watching the finals.

I feel like this is an issue with our small ball offense, esp. We don’t make people pay enough for the weak link in their defense. I have no stats or examples.... but it just doesn’t feel like we relentlessly punish teams.

Man, Tatum could have had a field day taking 3’s against the lakers. and most of them are too slow to guard him on the perimeter. We could have matched up better against the Lakers. Damn still pissed we threw away our chance.

No, and that's not the fault of Miami. It's probably a combination of a few things. But this has been an impossible finals to watch, I haven't finished a single game and I've been glued to every bubble game thus far.

If MIA could have even'd it up 2-2, then maybe I'd have the juice.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
I watch a lot of basketball, will watch a Hawks/Knicks game in December, but I've barely watched any of the Finals. Dunno if its just sports fatigue of a year-long season, disbelief that the Celtics couldn't dispatch this Heat team, or just that it really isn't a competitive series since LeBron is the GOAT and will just turn a switch if the game gets even remotely competitive.

Alvin Gentry, previously linked to Doc/Sixers, now headed to the Kings as associate head coach under Luke Walton. Makes sense. Once Walton gets axed, he'll take over.

This whole "Do it for Kobe!" narrative is whack. Going to make me sick to my stomach when Lebron wins Finals MVP and dedicates it to Kobe, just so he endears himself to Laker fans. It's just gross.

I hear you.
Though, Kobe did get to see Lebron in a Lakers uniform.

I said this on the GB and laker fan and bronsexuals were giving me **** for it. It’s honestly disgusting to use Kobe’s death as a rallying cry for a **** basketball game

I know its really wrong and an issue I need to work on, but I seriously cannot handle friends of mine (smart, well adjusted and allegedly knowledgeable about basketball) supporting lebron (ie he is the goat) at the moment.

Like, the sheep I get and its easy to write them off, but people that actually have brains choosing to ignore the cowardice is so frustrating.

Can't tell if serious or satire....
