Portland has the best team. DAL is experienced, but they lack consistency on both ends of the court.

We'll see what happens, but I expected DAL to flounder this year if they didn't commit to focusing on development after Jordan **** them.

Mejri, Powell and Anderson needed to play to keep hunger alive in the vets. Roles have been unpredictable.

I think it will come down to tiebreakers, also if DAL beats HOU at home, series would be tied 2:2, so than we have to look at Divison record where now HOU is 8-7 and DAL 5-8.

Record wise 41 wins probably will be enough for 8th.

DAL imo has:
- 3 winnable games: NY, MEM, SAS(last game),
- 3 hard to predict: @DET(probably loss), @MIN (MIN young team is good), @LAC(will they rest starters)
- 2 decisive: HOU and @UTA.

I think DAL makes it and one of POR/HOU will be in loterry.

I think Rick, Dirk, Mark and co. should just wave the white flag, rest their vets, and hope they jump into the top 3 of the lottery than fight for the right to get swept in the 1st round. Settle for the 12th worst record. Just my unbiased opinion.

Will be interesting to see if Houston ultimately pulls the plug on the season to save their draft pick. Their owed pick to Denver is protected top-14 this year or else it turns into a 2017 second rounder and is extinguished.

That team is sort of screwed unless they hit home runs in FA, otherwise they are indeed looking at a treadmill scenario. What a disaster season for them.

I'd like to see that happen too, but, unfortunately, of the Port/Houst/Dal threesome, Dallas has the least incentive to lose. Both Portland and Houston will retain their picks in 2016 IF they fall into the lottery but not otherwise (both owed to Denver). Dallas, on the other hand, won't get to keep its pick unless it drops to 7 or below (impossible except for very long odds in the lottery).

Danny Leroux @DannyLeroux

Big potential "strategic" game: OKC at Portland 4/6. Thunder losing could help put Portland in the 5-seed and push Memphis down to OKC.

Let's do it Billy!

GSW, SAS, OKC and LAC will destroy their opponents in first rounds, does not matter who they play. I do not see them losing more than 1 game in a series.

Should've added that my same line of thinking applies to the Nets. Rest Lopez and Young and RHJ. I'm just concerned about their long-term health. *wink wink*

BTW, Suns got a very favorable schedule from here to the end of the season... They got 3-4 very winnable games and they end the season against the Clippers, the Clippers will be resting everybody for sure...

I think it is between DAL and HOU for the last spot. POR will make it without a problem, IMO.

HOU is the one I see losing out. Only way they make it is by winning in DAL and I just dont see that.

I am glad Minny won. I expect BRK to win about 5 more games, so PHO will certainly be worse...Now just MIN needs to win a couple more...

Orlando is 4-11 this month. Time to win that 5th game tonight, boys! Let's go, Magic!!

I'd also cheer for the Sixers to win vs. the Hornets but that's a lost cause. Rockets could steal one vs. the Cavs. If the Nets could do it...

Nets playing 4 games in 5 nights this week, 2 back to backs, this stretch will likely determine if they're 3rd or 4th. Think Minny stays 5.

Nets fans celebrating that the Celtics didn't get as high a pick as the fans had wanted is the equivalent of a divorced man celebrating that he got to keep his big screen TV and Playstation while his ex-wife walked away with the house, car, and alimony payments.

Especially when you entered divorce proceedings assuming you were getting all of those things (plus a playoff berth).

Are you serious, the Nets will win 5 out of 9 games to end the season? I see them winning no more than 3-4...

For sure BRK win NOP and TOR(last game). High chance also WAS(second to last game of season, if was is out of playoffs).... SO thats already 3... than one or two surprise wins and we are already on 5....We need 2 more MIN wins to be safe imo.

Man, I love how every game tonight matters!
BKN - lose.
DET, HOU, WSH & CHI - win to get\stay ahead of DAL.
CHA - lose (seeding).

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Thaddeus Young will both sit (Rest) tonight at Orlando #nets

Good, looks like they will really rest Lopez/Young in some games. Does not hurt :D

Probably Lopez is next Vs. CLE...doubt they rest him on 2 game of btb next day vs. NY
