The Patriots new Defensive Coach is going to be - Bill Belichik! The Pats plan on starting the season without an actual DC, and just plan to have Bill do all the defensive play calling. This last happened in the 2011 season. It's possible that they still could add somebody before (or during) the season, but since BIll actually already does a lot of the defensive play calling, they plan to just let him go with it.

I can still throw a football well & still shoot a basketball well - albeit age & decades of high impact have caught up to my knees & lower back. On the other hand, I never played hockey or rooted at all for a NHL team - until last year when I got into the local DC mania regarding the Capitals a bit.

This year I do not have my Celtics, & the ECF/WCF I “kinda watch” here & there hoping for a Portland miracle. Rooting for the Dubs, Bucks & Craps is like choosing between herpes, scabies & genital warts.

And some of my buddies here like Truth18 care about the Bruins.
And if the Bruins win the Cup in 2019 right after the Sox & Patriots won their titles, it would clearly further enhance a great Boston sports vibe - which would hopefully spill over to the Celtics.

Therefore, I am going to watch & root for the Bruins beginning right now.
Who are their studs on O, D, & in the goal?

Hopefully, just a rest and recoup game for Chara, and his injury is not going to cost him more games. We finish it tonight and he'll have plenty of rest before the Finals.

This Bs team is the polar oppo of the Celtics. Hell, Marchand sent Johhansen into another universe with a dirty hit, gets traded to the Bs and it is all forgotten and lets ride. What a difference.
