I just don't know why we'd want to keep him (or why he'd want to stay) if we're going full youth movement with Al and Kyrie gone. I guess I forgot about Baynes too... my mistake there.

lol we are still a probable playoff team with a star level player, two possible All-Stars in Tatum and Brown and a max slot and a lot of picks.....it's really not that bad lol

My greatest celtic fear is happening. We are building a 10 year top 8 team rather than a 2 year top 1 team...give me a 2 year top 1 team anyday.

There have been reports that he doesn't get along with Jaylen or Tatum. I just don't really see him wanting to stick around for those 2 guys who basically play his position to move him to a bench role (or be angry that he's getting minutes ahead of them like last year).

Nobody is trading for him lol. I wouldn’t give up anything to dump him.

I could actually see him wanting to stay now. Tons of usage available, rebuild his value and then decide what he wants to do next summer. He can use us to rehab another year, then pull an Al on us.
OK, now I'm more depressed...

There were leaks over the year about how Jaylen and Tatum were unhappy about minutes and Gordon closing games at times. Rozier also complained about the minutes and talked about it on his media tour at the end of the season. And I have some contacts that have shared that perspective as well.
It's cool -- if they can work things out and Hayward wants to stay, happy to see if he can increase his value or they can play together. I just wouldn't be surprised if both sides decide to go another direction.
