It is a sad day.

Kemba is perfect after suffering two years with a drama queen He's the complete opposite a team player with a great attitude and one heck of a player.

Has Kemba ever had a teammate as good as Hayward, Brown, or Tatum?

Wrong
I don''t even mean this in the mean way. I don't mind the dude. But the next time Andrew is right about something, will be the first time.

It’s horrible to realize, but apparently I do care a little about my status on a basketball message board. I do clearly remember predicting basically all of the Celtics’ problems this year before the season started - and being told none of that would happen and that we were a clear championship favorite. I also have some faint memory of calling bs on the Fultz hype and being very clear about Tatum’s floor and upside even before we traded the number one. We can go back and look at the record..
Before that, though, I’d like it if you could get me some Applebee’s gift cards - put them in an envelope - lick the envelope - add a stamp - write my address (I’ll DM it to you!) - fold the envelope around the plastic cards - and shove it up your ***
djFan71 wrote:I get that he's a really good player, but I'm not sure Kemba was worth the opportunity cost. We couldn't stay over the cap and maneuver with exceptions, etc. We didn't stay under the cap to take assets/picks back in trades like MEM did. We could have Philly by the balls right now with DAL trying to throw a wrench in the Butler trade. We screwed Baynes. And apparently pissed off, or at least irked, one of the most likeable guys in the league (Al).
And, the biggest issue is, as of now, we can't play our 5 best players together. So, once again we ship Marcus or Jaylen back to the bench. Or Gordon is staying there, which means we're even more incredibly small. We say the future of the team is Jaylen & Jayson developing, yet now we take the ball out of their hands for another season (or 4). And we ensure that one of them, probably Jaylen, isn't going to close every game. So, we'll go another season and not really know if we should pay Jaylen big money after it.
Maybe we get lucky and sign a few young bigs around Timeload and they all develop. Maybe we trade Jaylen for a young big like Sabonis or Isaac to go alongside Timelord. Maybe Jaylen takes a team-friendly extension in the fall. I know it's early and lots can happen. But, if they don't we just gave a max to a guy nobody else was lining up to give it to who will take the ball out of our only current path back to contention.

Warning. C'mon man, you can say stuff like that - twice. I don't think what Darth said is right, or cool, but you gotta handle it better.

I certainly never meant to make you feel this way by typing a one word reply, I just very much disagree that it was a "stopping the bleeding" move. When you sign somebody like this, for this much money, for that many years there's a lot more thought put into it(months if not years) before making the decision. This wasn't a sky is falling move or a finger in the dike move, that's all I was trying to say. Always appreciate your posts Andrew.

Pretty sure he was responding to Darth's comment.
