I mean. Brad used to run some of the best sets in late game situations. A bit confused by this. He stopped last year with the Kyrie fiasco, and he’s been sticking with the ISO ball with Tatum because it has worked to date this season unlike with Kyrie.

I would love to see Brad go back to his old ways, but I doubt we will see it happen.

We can't forget the awful stretch of minutes in the second quarter where Semi, Grant, and Time Lord were like a combined -32.

Brad should stick to this: always 2 of Kemba, Tatum, and Brown in the game for scoring, and always no more than 2 bench players on the floor at once so we don't get destroyed like that again.

He's got to step up. One late game possession Kemba just stood there like a deer in the headlights not knowing what on earth he was going to run. He hasn't been in huge pressure playoff situations like this before, Brad. Help him out.

This team squeaked by the raptors. If they keep this inconsistency play they will be eliminated quickly. The heat ain’t no joke. How do you give up 35 points in the fourth quarter?

I like the kids game but with his knee appearing to be more and more problematic, looks like we bought a lemon.

I really don’t think it’s the knee....a lot of his shots are looks he routinely makes and knocks down. He’s just missing and then pressing. he just hasn’t consistently stepped up to the level of competition at this level and he’s been schemed out.

He had a few 3s tonight that should have been knockdown and a few other possessions where he got to his spot off the dribble but it’s not falling.

I think it might be the knee too. He looks wobbly on drives, routinely, but uncharacteristically, loses his handle all too frequently. There is is zero explosion on drives anymore and I think it's because he cannot drive off of that knee. He doesn't explode for layups. He looks slow. He's giving up the ball to Smart for HIM to drive. Let that sink in for a second. He's giving up the ball so that someone else can make the play. He is passive with the ball and I think it's because he knows that something is wrong.

Fear I have. He doesnt seem to be limping, but he is much faster than he is showing.

Also, he seems passive. I like him exploding off lick and shooting a 3.

I'm more worried about the Clippers than the Celtics.

We just need to get our head on straight. Sure, credit the Heat for executing in the 4th, but we gave that game away.

Looking at the stats.

Dragic and Crowder played WAY above their average. Herro if you count the absurd assist and rebound number, also way above average.

Adebayo right around his average, as was Butler.

We LITERALLY didn't stop anybody except Robinson and that was mostly due to fouls. Just a really poor performance defensively.

Awful, and the 37 in the second. But the fourth was against mostly the starters. We had a lot of bench guys in there in the second.

I honestly think this court for whatever reason **** him up too tho....I’ve never seen more players slip, fall, trip or be off balance in my life. I think he’s looking for smart to drive bc smart can body either of the heat guard in a post up or just bully them. With a rim protector like bam kemba is gonna struggle getting that extended arm out layup he loves.

I just disagree but we can agree to disagree but we both know he has to play better

Dragic was the real killer in that game. He sped them the **** up in the 2nd, then was big for them in the 4th again. His speed is a problem, and it'll gas Kemba out if he's on him. We need to put Smart on him.

At the end of the day it’s just the first game after coming off a grinding 7 game series. We’ll be fine. There’s no home court. We have a lot to improve on defensively. They still gotta win 3 more which isn’t gonna be easy. I’m sure they will make better adjustments especially on defense with the way Kemba was looking lost every play. Just sucks to blow a game we had control of but we’ve seen this team comeback and responded against the raps in games 5 and game 7 when we needed to win.

Dragic with 29pts lol! Butler had a sub par game the first 3 quarters, but took over hitting clutch shots, and taking the ball hard in the hoop, instead of settling for a low percentage jump shot. I liked what Jayson did on that last play attacking the rim hard, even though he was blocked. He wasn’t really attacking the rim hard these playoffs. Most of the time it’s floaters and layups, like he’s avoiding contact.

We shall see but i still haven’t seen this team play their best basketball. They have been inconsistent at best.

No he's not limping but I think think that knee is not strong enough anymore to allow Kemba to play like he's used to play. And I think that's why he's been so passive whether it's consciously or not. There is no explosion. Just to further punctuate this point, I was watching this clip from last year when he was All-NBA. Watch how low he gets on those crossovers and then explodes out of them like he's coming off a starting block. Look how how bouncy he is into his stepbacks. Like a gyrometer, he's never off balance. And for someone who uses his knees and legs as much as he does in his shot, for him to be as off as he is, has to be knee fatigue.

Our best basketball is with Hayward and clicking on offense and defense.
