Rest everyone these last two games before the play in

More accurately, by losing today, BOTH the Hornets AND the Pacers lost their chance to pass us.

We are locked into the 7 seed & home court for the Play In - in spite of a putrid season & a megs mega putrid stretch run.

With 2 games left, the Hornets (most likely) will be our opponent in the 7 VS 8 game (?probably with GH back?). However, the Pacers & the Wizards BOTH still have a pathway to the 8 seed.

I have no confidence in this team any longer. We are currently playing just about the worst ball in the NBA.

If we miraculously survive the Play In - it currently looks like the Nets who will blast us in Round 1.

Obviously, our last 2 games are irrelevant.
It would be nice to finish above 0.500.
It would be nice to finish on an upbeat note with no further injuries & w JT & EF & Kemba stroking it well & w dramatic improvement in Team D/intensity.

We potentially end the season 4-11 in our last 15 games and still end up as the 7th seed. The East is just pathetic lol.

I read GH is out for the play in game. Celtics are going to look great that game and win by 25 and their reward is playing Brooklyn in round 1.

BKN will be a med ward and we'll end up squeaking out a series win. Then take on the heat in a rematch with Dragic/Butler hurt and make the ECF where we take 2 games from the Knicks. Thereby masking any and all problems we may have.

Take seeding out of this and look at the rosters as they are. The Celtics have Marcus Smart Tatum and Kemba. Smart takes shots at will and Kemba is inconsistent. Why is it so hard to believe that a team without Jaylen that has trouble against Cleveland would be bounced?

Dude, you are totally missing my "joke". I was saying it sarcastically. As in, with our *** luck we'll somehow hit a string of injured teams and make the ECF and everyone will think the team is fine and we won't make any improvements in the offseason. I don't expect that to happen. Or want it to. It's the worst case scenario. Gallows "humor".

Losing the first play in game and trying to 'playoff tank' for the Sixers is the absolute no brainer choice here. Not only are we 8-1 in the playoffs against those guys(different teams sure) but you avoid playing the toughest superstar trio ever assembled on an NBA team. Give me Embiid over Irving, Harden, Durant any day. I'd rather be eliminated full stop over playing Brooklyn.

Ok but if they lose to the wizards will it really matter because they will have to lose again to either pacers(who have no desire to be In the playoffs) or the hornets without Hayward.
