We all know damn well Tatum would be copping it if he shot like that against the 8th seed.

The fact they’re still winning shows you how deep that team is. For anyone to beat them they gotta bring their A game for four quarters.

The point is JT gets criticized if he shot like that.

Winning is another story because both JT and SGA are winning.

If anything, I thought I saw a last ditch effort to try and avoid contact with Ja after Ja leapt in the air.

Yeah there was an initial effort to put his hands up and/or grab an arm as opposed to give up a sure thing dunk - as there literally should have been. And Ja was not even really helpless at that time, he decided to play stuntman and it backfired.

I get if you think Dort is a dirty player, but I don't know how you watch that replay and think it was more than a simple foul. There wasn't much contact, nor anything that looked like a deliberate attempt to undercut Ja, he didn't even have enough time to anticipate it.

Dort was not doing anything dirty.

Ja just wanted to do a Vince Carter on Dort.

Ja is stupid. Did the same thing against Lebron and AD on different games. Tried to dunk over them, and got injured both times. The dude don’t have anything in his bag, other than jump high. Doesn’t have a mid range, 3ball is below average. Not impressed at all with his game.

I don't think Dort is a dirty player. I honestly don't watch OKC enough to have an opinion. And I know we will just disagree and that is fine. I just want to leave this here because it explains my opinion better than I can. I'll add one final thought. People blaming Ja for jumping too high are missing the plot when it comes to basketball. Sports at the root are for entertainment, and not just for any single person's enjoyment but for as many people as possible. Do you think people would have enjoyed that game more if Ja got a dunk in that scenario and was able to play the rest of the game? I know I would have.

They talk about the foul starting at 3:26:

Honestly, it's a moot point, but in the OKC comeback last night, after Ja went out, there had to be 10 minutes when Chet Holgren was trying to guard Zach Edey and Memphis didn't post him once. I understand Edey is a rook but Mem had a 20 pt lead and could not score, why not put Edey on the block under the hoop and throw him the ball. Edey had 75 or 90 pounds on Holmgren and he didnt punish Chet one time in the post.

I don't get it.

Nuggz are done. Clippers look hungrier, more determined, more focused and poised. Doing what they did to Malone was stupid. They should have waited till after the playoffs to fire him. Also, looks like my prediction of them making the finals is not going to happen lmao.

Doesn’t help though when you have flat uninspiring ball and commit 21 turnovers.

Cavs should most likely make it to the ECF with very little issues. We might be the hospital Celtics by the time done with Orlando and a rivalry series with Knicks.

Scotty Pippen Jr. is interesting. He's on a good contract, after going Undrafted.

They should handle the Knicks. They’re not as physical. Celtics just need to start playing better basketball and executing. You had the best road record. Start showing it.

He's great as a backup PG.

But I don't think he's a starter in the NBA.

He looks smaller than PP.
