5-2 without Garnett. We are really stepping up without our main star. This is impressive and a message to the rest of the league that we're good because we're a team and not just the L.A Kobe's
Does anyone actually believe that either Mike Brown or Doc Rivers have done any coaching during the series, or in their undistinguished careers?

Well to be fair SA was missing TP and Dallas was missing a few players. However I'm glad that our guys were able to step and continue to play the kind of Defense KG has implemented on this team.westthebest wrote:Did we really just beat Dallas and SA without KG?
My Starting 5:
PG: Allen Iverson
SG: Paul Pierce

We've been playing well without the MVP of the league. The experience that guys like Davis, Powe and Rondo are getting will prove invaluable going forward.

Kevin Garnett >>> Tony Parker and Devin Harris. It doesn't take anything away from it.Albanian Damien wrote:-= original quote snipped =-

First win over SA in Boston in a long long time. This game was all about defense, Davis, Rondo, Tony, and Powe all were very aggressive and making the Spurs rush their shots. Ginobili was just flailing about trying to get a foul and Tony just backed right up off from him. Think he learned a lesson from the Detroit game?

Davis played incredible defense on Duncan. He may not be a 7 footer, but his quick feet and hands will keep his man honest.
