Hard to say. Maybe something for a future first with protections on it so it would likely be a mid to late lotto pick down the road. I think Ainge would do that if he doesn't see Sully making a leap forward. What would the filer be?

Sully is 22 and already top ten in his position at rebounds. I hate talking trades because people always overate their own players(Boston fans especially), but I look at other teams boards and they've suggested trading for Sully. Wizards fans want to offer a late first and a expiring, and Toronto fans think offering Ross(who they think shouldn't even start) is a over pay. Celtic fans have no patients, he was a steal at where we drafted him. I admit I thought his stats would go up and his weight would go down this year, but he's still immature and has a lot of time to improve. Danny wouldn't move him unless he was making out on the deal.Porter would have to be involve, and I don't think the Wizards want to move him. Celtics fans need to give Sully till the end of the year, with Green gone he'll get a lot more touches, and his shooting% has improved since last.

It's not that Sully is bad, its just that he's not going to turn into a star.

It's hard to tell that when he's only played 150 games. Guys like Millsap and Ibaka became better defenders overtime and offensive game wasn't even there until their fourth year in the league. Boston fans thought he was the next Love last year, and now think he has hit his peak this year at 22.

What about a trade of bad contracts? Who says no?

Wallace and Turner FOR

Larry Sanders

Maybe our coaching staff can turn him around and save his career? Any ideas?

We say NO WAY. Sanders hasn't lived up to his contract even when he is playing... and just playing has been hard for him. Really, this can't be understated... even if he wasn't an injury AND drug risk... he just isn't that good. On top of that his situation seems to be getting worse, not better. NO WAY. We don't need another Vin Baker situation. Sanders contract runs longer then Wallace. Turner has been a solid vet for us. For like 50 different reasons... NO WAY.

The ghost of vin baker says no.

Wallace at least is a good locker room guy, and turner has been solid (yes i know thats a minority opinion but i really dont get the turner hate)

Not to mention that we are now only a few months away from Wallace's "bad contract" becoming an "asset." And if you read any of Steven's quote's in the last day or two about Wallace... he is the one holding the locker room together. Almost made me feel like he could have a future as an assistant coach. Almost.

Please stop with sanders, he has contract until the summer of 2018. Probably the most toxic contract in the league along with deron.

I had some interest in Sanders as high risk / reward type of deal...but can't touch that now. Milwaukee would have to include an unprotected first rounder to move him at this point. Until he plays again...and is productive, i don't think he is movable, and even then might be tough with his history.

Looking at the Clippers' roster, I don't think that a player-for-player deal is possible. Perhaps, Ainge can obtain a trade exception.

As Tayshaun Prince prepares to meet with Celtics to discuss future, the Clippers have registered interest in acquiring him, source says. If Prince doesn't want to stay in Boston, the Celtics would pursue trade avenues before agreeing to buyout, source said. Twitter @KBergCBS

Nik Stauskas got only the 2nd DNP-CD of his professional career last night. Only mentioning this because of him being linked to trade rumors lately.

That would be a feat if Danny Ainge could trade Prince to LAC.

How's this for starters?

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lyjum36

Wins are really quite close, but BKN ultimately reduces their luxury tax.

I don't think it helps anybody except Brooklyn. And we don't need 2 new bigs for Stevens to incorporate and take away playing time

I thought they were really high on Plumlee and considered him a cornerstone? What happened? Just Len overtaking him... or something more?

WTF
High first round from a team that is on rebuild for two bench players?
Those players worth clippers/sixers round as much, but in the situation of boston hasn't sense give any first round for this type of players.

As a another Celtics fan said, I can't imagine Boston trading away its own pick for those guys.

Instead, we'll take the Mavs first rd pick you guys own.

We'll need Zeller or Olynyk in return too though.

Why in the world are people proposing BOS trade draft picks for two 26 year old bench players?

Didn't we just trade away OUR 26 year olds for draft picks? So Ainge is going to immediately abort the plan?

ALso, i think people may be getting Miles confused with Mason. Mason plays in Brooklyn and is the much better brother.

It's interesting, big question is would LA dump their small amount of front court depth to get help on the wing. Hawes/Crawford is basically their bench, so it would be a bold move. Not sure if Brooklyn wants to take on longer term salary as well. Bunch of pieces that look to be in play for sure.
