Speaking of, I'm totally ruined after Breaking Bad ended. In my mind the GOAT of all tv shows including any of the other premium movie channel series.

This page in this thread is the only one I've read and you had to go there. I'll be resuming watching it for my 4th or 5th time.

Love Breaking Bad but I have The Wire as my GOAT.

Hot take but if Better Call Saul continues to be great, I think it ends up as a better show than BB. It's possible we get a dud season or bad ending though.

Dude.... you have NO idea what true heat is until you live somewhere close to the equator. When you start sweating the moment you step out of the shower, you know the true meaning of the Indian summer. :)

BB was incredible. But Better Call Saul is really really good. Just an incredible character, with so many shades of grey in him. And Bob Odenkirk is just incredible.

Damn I didn't even give Better Call Saul a chance bro. Like literally, not seen one minute of that one because of the glorious carnage BB left.

Agreed on The Wire. Great stuff, but not quite BB.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

Bitches Brew

Blonde on Blonde

The White Album

The Fragile

But yeah, those are the exceptions. They usually don't work out, especially in Hip Hop. Remember Speakerbox/The Love Below?

I've just finished watching it, based on recommendations on this thread. Really liked it, but liked "Making a Murderer" much, much more.

Late weighing in:

Scorpion is not good.
Breaking Bad was amazing at first but started sucking at the end of the 3rd season. It's not even in my top 10 shows.

I haven't watched BCS yet, so maybe I should get on that.

I am listening to the podcast Crimetown, which focuses on organized crime in Providence, focusing on the Patriarca crime family and corrupt Mayor Buddy Bianci. It's probably one of the most interesting audio documentaries I've heard, second maybe to Slow Burn, and 100% free.

(Netflix) Good Girls is a fun show. Like a lighter version of Ozark. GLOW S2 was superb imo, not just because Alison Brie is in it. S2 of Luke Cage was disappointingly dragging.

GLOW S1 was enjoyable and did a competent job introducing a huge ensemble cast, but S2 turned it into one of the better shows on Netflix. There was a significant improvement in the quality of writing and production value between seasons. I especially loved the episode that focused on Kia Stevens' character's relationship with her son. I'm curious if commentary on the use of problematic racial and ethnic stereotypes for humor in that episode was partly self-referential.

I won't lie, fellas. Tried watching GLOW, saw Allison Brie's boobs in episode 1, and then turned it off. Does she show them again? If so, which episode?
