I can’t say whether it was or wasn’t and I won’t go down that route but even if it was disproved It’s a he said she said and if he still believes that’s what he heard then that’s his feelings and his emotions and I understand why he would be so outraged and rightfully so.

It’s like pickup basketball.

Am I going to pick the team full of scrubs or pick the team with great players and run the court all night? I think he’s going to the Lakers.

I know KAT's contract is long but with no way to improve that roster how long will it be until he demands a trade you think? 2-3 seasons?

No star power but way more firepower than people realize. Gallinari, lou, montrezl the only non-Ws trio to avg over 22 pts per 36. Fun little fact that i dont know for sure is true

Take summer league as entertainment and thats it! Way too many summer league heros that turned to squat to take anything done there seriously.

The thing about the Lakers is you have to compare them to what else is out there if they get Kawhi.

If the Warriors of last season were around then I’d be very interested to see how things pan out. But they’re not.

Does a Sixers team beat Davis, Kawhi and LeBron? Hell no. The Rockets? No. The Nets won’t be a contender next season. The Bucks just lost Brogdon.

Yes you can argue that they lack depth but if you’ve been paying attention in free agency in recent times teams seem to be caring less and less about depth. The Lakers would do everything possible to ensure their three stars are healthy when it matters. Players will line up to play with these guys on small deals as has happened before with LeBron teams.

If Kawhi goes there they’re only losing the title if a Warriors like injury capitulation happens. History suggests that doesn’t happen a lot.

Just said within 24 months KAT wants out....and my other guess is if the rockets fail miserably this year or if the lakers get kawhi, morey puts harden on the market next summer but def within 24 months.

I got KAT harden Booker all becoming available. I also think by deadline Beal is moved wouldn’t even be shocked if it’s before the start of the year. I know everyone says he committed to them but the quotes were “let’s see what happens in fre agency etc etc”

The Raptors aren’t exactly a team of scrubs.

Siakam is legit. Lowry is an all star level player and their depth was really good. Is it Davis and LeBron? No.

It will come down to whether Kawhi wants to be the guy or wants to be another one of these cowards like Durant that just wants easy rings.

A few weeks ago after they won I thought he’d quickly re-sign. But with it dragging on and Kawhi being a strange dude I can’t help but feel he’s going to pull the strange move on us too.

Apologies if mentioned elsewhere, but any chance with our Cap situation we can hold onto Baynes rather than deal to Phoenix now? Or having a deal in principle and then going back on it is a no no?

Also, while Brown has potential I think I'd rather find a big where a trade between both parties makes sense.

While ordinarily true the problem for the Lakers is going to be that they can't just add the ordinary player or make the ordinary trade they hamstrung themselves with draft picks forever not being able to add them to the roster or be able to trade them.

Their roster will fill out but this is a shrinking window of success. It is odd because it could have been built on young developing guys if Leonard just joined the Lakers but because of the trade for Davis it is a one year super band and if it doesn't work AD can start shopping for a new home.
