Correct.
Magic Number now = 2.
See my seeding thread below.

Even without Simmons I’d still rather play the Pacers. Without Sabonis they’re basically the inferior version of us

Neither IMO. Sixers aren’t on our level and don’t concern me at all, with or without him

I think Simmons out make Philly significantly smaller, which helps us a ton. I didn't want to play them full strength at all due to the length. But now, I think we beat either in 6 or less.

Absurd stat line for Dame: 43 points on 19 shots. Only attempted two 2-pt field goals. 11 made threes, 8 made FTs. 11 assists.

I think Floody is significantly underestimating Oladipo, Brogdon, Warren.

Warren may be just on a hotstreak but for the season he's averaging 20 ppg on 54% fg and 40% from 3 so like... yeah.

That said I still think the 76ers are a bad matchup for us.

Before Simmons went down I'd want to play the Pacers instead. Now with Simmons down I'm not sure.

That Brog, Ola, TJ Warren is a very good 3 punch kinda like our Kemba, Brown, Tatum is. And if we get the real Ola I'm not sure I want to see him guarding Kemba and what that does to us. Them Turner and Theis are pretty close too. It just seems like a lot of close good matchups.

It's tough but I think even with Embiid being a horrible matchup for Boston in the playoffs when physicality is ramped up significantly. I think I'd rather play the 76ers. Just overall quality of depth with Pacers is a lot. In the end the 76ers just don't have a lot of 3 point shooting and I think, I hope, that Tatum is playing a bit possum and if he is and gets back on a roll and starts succesfully driving and finishing at the rim along with launching 3s that should be enough of an advantage on offense to make up for Embiid.

Also even with Embiid having 4 months to rest, even with it only being the first round... I wonder if he can really put out full effort for 40 mpg in playoff level intensity. Something tells me he'll end up settling for a few too many mid range jumpers against a Semi and a Smart guarding him and let us off the hook a bit.

That's down to 18.94% if not for Kuzma.

That team is more likely to lose to the Blazers in the first round than to win a championship IMO.

It's definitely the homer in me talking, but the Lakers look beatable and we match-up very well with the Clippers.

Hello gentlemen. I'd submit it's hardly homerism.

If your team has disciplined wing-defenders and can execute rotations - and I believe the Celtics do - the Lakers are a good, but perfectly beatable team.

What an awful stroke Fultz still has.
Between college & the draft, he simply forgot how to shoot.
Incredible,
I think the ‘thoracic outlet syndrome’ diagnosis was mostly a crock.

TY, Danny,

Kind of mind blowing. I can go a year without shooting a FT, yet, can nail them pretty much all the time or at least be close and I'm almost 50.

I was a decent shooter once also.
And I rarely play now - except to shoot around a couple of times a year.
But after warming up some, I can still swish some from (reasonable) distance.
Muscle memory (Hoops & Football) from ages 10 to 20 stays there.
And I sure as **** can still freakishly throw a football on a line >45 yards (as you may have seen on the You Tube of me that I have posted here in the past).
And I am (unfortunately) a bunch older than you.

It is almost like the “yips” - ala Steve Sax who played 2B for the Dodgers in the 80s.
I vaguely remember reading about the psychopathology some believe is at the root.
