This whole "Do it for Kobe!" narrative is whack. Going to make me sick to my stomach when Lebron wins Finals MVP and dedicates it to Kobe, just so he endears himself to Laker fans. It's just gross.

I said this on the GB and laker fan and bronsexuals were giving me **** for it. It’s honestly disgusting to use Kobe’s death as a rallying cry for a **** basketball game

You do realise that half the **** basketball world wants this though? It annoys me and if the pels played hard ball we wouldn't be having this conversation at all. Its just bull **** timing and one of the biggest sports cowards of all time taking advantage

I watch a lot of basketball, will watch a Hawks/Knicks game in December, but I've barely watched any of the Finals. Dunno if its just sports fatigue of a year-long season, disbelief that the Celtics couldn't dispatch this Heat team, or just that it really isn't a competitive series since LeBron is the GOAT and will just turn a switch if the game gets even remotely competitive.

Can't tell if serious or satire....

Serious.

I think that viewership would have been up Bigtime, if the Celtics and Lakers were battling for the Title.
It's anticlimactic with Miami in there.

What a game!! What a gallant effort by Jimmy Effing Butler and the Heat. WOW.

Lakers don't want to lose game 6. Unless they want to face The Kelly Olynyk in a game 7. They have Markieff Morris to attest to that.

Yeah, no way we'd have been able to do this. We don't have a player like Jimmy Butler. Gonna take some more experience for JT/JB to get near that level.

Kept telling people... our stars are too young. Kemba's inexperienced in the playoffs. Hayward's hobbled. This is some **** Jimmy is on. His teammates getting that juju from him. And yeah hate to admit it but... Spo > Stevens.

I wonder how hurt Davis is. He hobbled a couple of times during the game. Doesn't seem the type to "tough it out." He'll play in game 6 but likely won't be dominant if he's hurting.

gotta keep the series extended for those advertisers. Laughable. I think China putting it back on made it pretty obvious the series was going longer.

Nice. Now the heat can hurt the same as we did when we won game 5 and started to really believe again. All this win does is make the next loss hurt more.

Celtics still up 17-16 for another few days, at least.

I thought when Lakers erased the 11-pt 4th quarter lead of the Heat, they were done. Bad possession after bad possession. But they somehow regained composure, kept fighting, running their plays, and defending. They're built different than us sadly. We would've chucked homerun threes lol.

Or even better.. They can win two more and **** LeBron's career. 3-7 with a blown 3-1 lead would be **** glorious. **** that guy and all he stands for.
