All these guys will be gone by 14, Bane will be available tho and is intriguing ! I would not hate taking him at 14, lots of NCAA games under his belt ... but he can't shoot like terry ! nesmith and terry best pure shooters in draft ... can make arguement for Bay at 45%(iirc) but he SHOULD be looong gone by 14 !

This is what I remember most about Al for some reason.

I read that as him saying if the trade up fails, which he can't see happening at this point, they will trade 26 for a 1st round pick next year, similar to how they did that last year for the Bucks pick this year.

Yeppers if all options are off the table the 26 might be similar trade as last year

What is the trade up that you’re saying is likely to happen?

Heck no to Bane before pick say 20, with his dinosaur arms and lack of athletiscm he will never be a good nba starter. He can shoot it, but lots of 2nd round prospects with better size can as well. He is a nice secondary playmaker but completly non switchable with his negative wingspan and he lacks the jets to Guard PG's, The JT's and the JB's of the world would just shoot right over him, we are talking a 6 inch wingspan differential between him and the guys of good size on the wings.

I agree that Terry will be gone. Someone is gonna roll the dice on him because he is THAT good of a shooter. Bummer because he would be a good value pick even as a trade chip.

My top three have been P Williams, Tyrell Terry, Kira Lewis. I think the only one that we have a chance at at this point is Lewis because other teams might go for shooting as well and pick Nesmith and Bey. If they get picked before 14, someone is definitely dropping. And I'm thinking it might be Lewis. Who IMO is gonna be REALLY good.

Washington and Phoenix are the keys to this draft for me.

It wouldn't be surprising if another team ended up picking at No. 14, with sources suggesting the Celtics are up to something. Teams we've spoken to in the 20s don't expect Achiuwa to be there. His defensive versatility is an attractive selling point, while flashes of offensive skill create hope for some bonus scoring potential.

We're almost surely trying to do SOMETHING. Whether we can find a good deal is another matter.

Jared Weiss of the Athletic just reported in his draft article that Hayes worked out for the Celtics.

I would love Killain Hayes at 14 or for 14 and 26 KOC's number one prospect in the draft

AND... the celtics twitter just posted the "resume profile" thingy on Hayes. Now I am very confident that the 10 guys the Celtics worked out are:

Killian Hayes (reported workout + resume video)
Devin Vassell (reported workout)
Onyeka Okongwu (reported workout + resume video)
Jalen Smith (declined to reveal who he worked out for + resume video)
Saddiq Bey (declined to reveal who he worked out for + resume video)
Aaron Nesmith (reported workout + resume video)
Theo Maledon (reported workout)
RJ Hampton (reported workout + resume video)
Precious Achuiwa (reported workout + resume video)
Zeke Nnaji (resume video)

Jalen Smith and TT are not sexy ! but make so much sense for us at 14

Love Precious too but is FT% fixable ? plus Jalen is way more polished and can do more at this point ...

Saddiq or Nesmith both very intriguing, but both will most likely be gone .... gun to my head, I prob take terry over nesmith. something about nesmith feels off ! dude may of just had a mágical shooting run plus injury. jalen or terry (darkhorse Kira &Precious) are the pick at 14

I like the Thunder are doing. They are going to become a very good team in the near future.

Updating the list of Confirmed workouts/virtual meetings. Yeleven11 posted a list on page 92 of this thread explaining who he believes worked out or provided a workout video. This list omits the videos, but lists in person workouts and virtual meetings such as Zoom.

If you have a reference to a confirmed workout or confirmed virtual meeting not listed, please provide the source and I'll be happy to include it.

So, who are the 10 players the Celtics have worked out?

Teams are only allowed 10 IN-PERSON workouts.

Confirmed:
Precious Achiuwa (Memphis)
R. J. Hampton (New Zealand Breakers)
Killian Hayes (France)
Theo Maledon (France - ASVEL)
Aaron Nesmith (Vanderbilt)
Onyeka Okongwu (USC)
Devin Vassell (Florida State)

Possibly
Saddiq Bey (Villanova)
Jalen Smith (Maryland)

Virtual Meeting, i.e. Zoom (Doesn't count against limit of 10 workouts)
Cole Anthony (North Carolina)
Desmond Bane (TCU)
Nate Hinton (Houston)
Naji Marshall (Xavier)
Zeke Nnaji (Arizona)
Daniel Oturu (Minnesota)
Payton Pritchard (Oregon)
Immanuel Quickley (Kentucky)
Paul Reed (DePaul)
Grant Riller (College of Charleston)
Jay Scrubb (2 meetings) - maybe he should change his last name considering his desired profession. Was consensus JUCO College Player of the Year, and scheduled to transfer to Louisville if he didn't stay in the NBA Draft.
Cassius Stanley (Duke)
Lamar Stevens (Penn State)
Tyrell Terry (Stanford)
Killian Tillie (Gonzaga)

Abdel Nader is gonna end up making 10 mil in this league before he calls it quits. Amazing. Gets to play with the point god, too.
