so, how did he screw it up? Hornets offered 120m over 4 years fully guaranteed. Pacers said nope. How can danny fix that to get turner?

Lololol you're being so disingenuous that it feels like you're trolling.

Danny **** this whole thing up. But he didn't do it today. It happened months ago.

Did that help?

who would you have traded Hayward for months ago that would have improved our situation. Please tell me.

He doesn't want anyone.

I think he said about 11 times that he likes the guys he has.

Which should bother you but apparently danny doing just fine.

What moves did he not make that he should have?

Hmm, taking Turner/McDermott the moment it was offered for a departing Hayward comes to mind

You can blame Mike Zarren, Kevin Pritchard, Gordon Hayward, The Boston Media, Michael Jordan, The Hornets for making that ridiculous offer, Robyn Hayward, The makers of League of Legends etc...but just don't blame Danny Ainge for Hayward leaving for nothing because its not his fault! Its everyone elses!

No one will care. We have better future assets than the Lakers. All good.

Unless you can ask God to move Boston to California or Florida, the Lakers will win 5 titles for every title we win from now until the end of time and there's literally nothing we can do about it. This franchise has been run to damn near perfection up until last offseason with nothing to show for it while LA just **** themselves left and right, being bailed out by guys desire to live there. Unfortunately for us, nobody will join a 15 win team with the worst management in the game because of how excited they are to live in Salem. We got guys leaving a 50 win, ECF team for 15 win teams instead. Tough ****.

well, i said that was on Hornets and on Hayward for taking more money, not Danny. He came back and said the error was months ago not today. Pay attention, spend a few seconds reading instead of yelling at clouds maybe? Or maybe do, you sound like some fresh air yelling at clouds would do you some good.

Well the upside to this offseason is Carsen Edwards will still have a runway to take off this year.

He had 3 years to read the room on hayward and he read the wrong book.

U pass it to baynes in the corner for 3

I have legitimate loss confidence and Danny fixing the bench. it was awful last year and I don't see him signing anyone else this year

Having a decent bench has always been his achilles heel. The big 3 needed just one decent center after Perk got traded but he never filled in that void. And still to this date we never had a solid big for several seasons who could clog the paint for us when needed, probably only Baynes in short spurts of the bench.

Ainge has only one problem and that's the fact that he outsmarts himself each and everytime since the Billy King fleecing. The league has changed and players have the upperhand now. That's one of the reasons we never had a solid bench contributor.

But still doesn't say that Ainge is bad and should be fired. He's one of the best gm's in the league. He just needs to compromise sometimes in deal. You can't fleece a team each and everytime.

whatever they need to fit the narative. I mean, they have to blame somebody on our team, it can't just be the Hornets being the dumbest franchise this offseason.

If it was this simple why push the deadline back? Why can't it be as simple as Ainge played hardball and got burned?

Because the surest route to an asset back was an opt in. If Hayward was opting out but might change his mind you agree to an extension, you grant the extension

If you told Gordon Hayward after the season ended that he would get a 4/120million contract he would have laughed at you
