Would Boston add the Memphis pick to Hayward, Langford and Brown for Beal and filler?

Too much. I'd say 2 of those players and 2 other non griz picks. Not griz pick.

Langford + Brown is about $10 million going out with Beal $27.1 million incoming. So Hayward appears to be needed as part of the outgoing in this version of a Beal trade.

That’s an incredible overpay - I think Hayward/Langford/MIL 1st is as high as we could go.. maybe higher than we should.

Being down about what has happened and the moves or lack of moves Danny has made seems to be frowned upon around here though.

Lonzo more talented and dominant than Tatum? Really??

Lonzo has shown zero in the NBA. Not sure where the narrative is coming from.

What I said was more “nuanced” than that. But Tatum right now is learning how to score efficiently in the flow of the game. Lonzo had two triple doubles within the first 20 games of his rookie year.. They both had disappointing sophomore seasons - I wouldn’t trade Tatum for Lonzo, but Ball hasn’t shown “zero” - he’s one of the best young prospects in the league, an elite defender with size, great court vision, rebounding..

Ainge might still go after Kyrie, KD, AD, and whoever else in the offseason, but in the event he fails to get us a top shelf talent via trade, what type of players would you like to add to our current core? You can name names as long as they're reasonably available.

Here's my wishlist:
◾ Mobile big that can gobble up boards, protect the rim, and pass some; Either play alongside Horford or as 1st big off bench. Ideally, Cs can groom Robert III to be that guy. -- ROBERT WILLIAMS III
◾ Defensive specialist that can slow down Giannis without much help. Does such a guy exist? Sadly, the Bucks are the new Cavs/Heat and the Greek Freak just took over Lebron's throne. -- GRANT WILLIAMS
◾ Long-range sharpshooter that you can't leave open ala Redick, Danny Green, Klay, Ray Allen, etc. Someone who can run around screens and pull up upon catching. -- MAX STRUS
◾ 6'6" or above backup PG that won't be a defensive liability. -- TREMONT WATERS, sitting on Tacko's shoulders

I agree. Kanter would be solid off the bench. Plus he’s probably our best post up player, and he rebounds well. I think he still gets tons of playing time, regardless on whether he starts or not.

I agree. Kanter would be solid off the bench. Plus he’s probably our best post up player, and he rebounds well. I think he still gets tons of playing time, regardless on whether he starts or not.

What constitutes tons of playing time? I'd bet he is around 20 mpg, maybe 25 at most.
