Jokic has been phenomenal all season long and has his team in the thick of things despite injuries to Murray & MPJ. Embiid has been a monster and kept Philly at the top of the East despite the Simmons saga. Giannis is Giannis and IMO is being overlooked...He's been great. Then you have Tatum who has the Celtics probably ahead of schedule and threatening to be the top seed in a crowded east. I'd say Curry/LeBron are out. Luka is in the conversation but not a threat. Lastly, Ja Morant.....

My MVP Rankings as of today

Jokic
Giannis
Embiid
Tatum
Morant
I think you can flip flop Doncic and Ja.

He's due another PotW today unless they give it to Trae or SIakam.

It’s so much to put on a guy his age, but he’s the reason I’m not freaking out today. The Rob stuff obviously hurts, but Tatum makes everyone around him SO much better. I posted it in the VC thread last night, but it’s just obscene.

He’s averaging 34/7/5 on a 69% TS in March, Celtics have a +23.5 net rating when he plays. Here is the Celtics net ratings with each rotation player OFF the floor in March.
White +25
Smart +20.8
Grant +20.4
Jaylen +18.6
Horford +15.9
Pritchard +14.5
Theis +12.3
Rob +9.4
Tatum -10.4

Ja shouldn't get a vote of any kind. Not saying Memphis can't use him the playoffs, but damn Memphis is dominating and playing better without him.. that is NOT what a MVP means. same for Doncic. Big stats with very little impact with vs without playing proves that.

Ja improves the Grizzlies by 200% when he sits on the bench. Bench Ja = MVP.

Even if he doesn't win, it's great Cs are making a push. Should do the same for Smart and Rob.

Tatum looking for his 10th 30 point game of March tonight to tie Larry as only Celtics to do it.

Gonna be a tight race for PotM with momentum on Giannis' side. Bucks and Cs with identical 11-3 records (Giannis 10-2, Tatum 11-2).

Unless I'm reading the chart wrong doesn't this make Tatum clearly the best at the moment?

Just basing on that chart and nothing else, there's a clear MVP.

Tatum is on pace to become the 7th player in Celtics history to score 2,000 points in a single season. He has 1,999 points with three games to play. He only needs to average 113 points/game in the last 3 games to tie Havlicek for most points in a single season.

Tatum is also on pace to average 27/8/4 this season. Only Bird (3x) and Hondo (2x) have done it in a Celtics uniform.
