JB seems like the odd man out. I'm not sure how he really fits in. They just need a 3D guy at his position and he's paid like a 1A.

Best case scenario is JB figures it out during the course of the season.

Love him or hate him, Celtics are stuck with JB.

It's just a matter of time.

Worst case scenario is JB doesn't figure it out and the Celtics have not won Banner 18 by 2025.
If that's the case then the Cs will be forced to trade him.

Yup, losing Marcus was big. JB is the next in line I think. If he keeps making the same mistakes, forcing things, silly turnovers, dudes gone next yr imo unless they win a title, but even then, I'm not so sure.

If Cs win a title then JB will definitely stay.

But if it's July, 2025 and the Cs still have not gotten Banner 18 then JB will most likely be on the move.

Dude is blessed. Highest paid player in the NBA and may piggy back his way to a ring. I'm not seeing it, he needs to be a better facilitator or is replaceable imo. Question is, will his value stay high enough to get the right piece(s)?

I hope JB can prove my analysis wrong, but the book is out on him from 2023 playoffs. This is his season to make that next step with his handle and passing.

Pace has grinded to a halt in the 3rd and we are running the offense through JB which I'm not a big fan of.
Luckily this team is so talented it can drop 10 pts in one minute if they wanted.

You think he's going to get handle by the time the season starts lol he needs to change his decision making. That alone would make the team better.
