We just need to keep Tatum, every other asset should be on the table.

I'm sure they'll fill out their roster but I don't think that puts them head & shoulders above teams like the Rockets, Nuggets, Blazers, etc. Of course the Warriors too, depending on how things shake out for them.
It all depends on Lebron’s health. They were no.4 in west when lebron went down, and could have easily made the playoffs if he was healthy. AD and Lebron could easily beat the blazers, HOU and the nuggets.
Lebron is old and breaking down.
The guy is superhuman, but for the first time just doesn’t bring it every game anymore. What is he, 34-35?
It’s probably over for him.

Jacobs is fine with how the Cup ended since Mr. Burns still got his precious concessions gate from game 7. Celtics owners are actual fans who want to win.

AD won’t change that...maybbbbeeee it goes from zero to 10%. He knew we had a great chance of getting AD for months. KD injury clearly hasn’t changed anything everything he’s posted about that hasn’t been been incoherent rambling disguised as what he thinks is intelligence has been talking about his old neighborhood and home.
“The chance to come home be closer to my family and friend was just too good to pass up” it’s over and AD won’t change it. I want it to but it’s an extreme long shot (woj shams mannix bulpett himmelsbach reload all concur) You trade for him you better hope Hayward is back to Utah days and kawhi leaves the raptors etc because while the league may be WIDE open for the taking I don’t think it’s going to be enough with rozier Hayward AD horford and brown (if he’s here) and when it isn’t he’s gone.
I want AD and kyrie as much as anyone and maybe at least AD just happens and I’ll support the team and ainge either way but the Celtics dream of AD kyrie together in BOSTON is dead.
Tatum should be aswell. He’ll never be a superstar.Scarletfire81 wrote:NYCelticsfan136 wrote:Yes let’s give up all our assets for one year of Anthony davis and who else?! I don’t want this guy here because he won’t sign long term with the Celtics.

Durant will be back for next years playoffs. Guaranteed.
Achilles? Come on. That is 9 months. Look at Boogie, he isn't some super speedster and he plays at a slower pace and he took about 10 months.
