If the opposition has rim protection, the Wolves are clueless. That’s why they won against the Nuggets.

Don’t get me wrong, I give the Mavs credit for their offense but TWolves are clueless on offense

Trap him. Bucks did that to him when he was on the Celtics and they made him quit.

The Mavs are just a bad matchup for the Wolves.

Wolves were built to beat the Nuggets.

But the Nuggets are not the only team the Wolves need to beat to get to the finals.

Kyle Anderson has been the best player on the Mavs tonight

Luka is gonna be the best player in the finals. We just need JT or JB to match his performance, and for our guys to shoot lights out. No room for Hauser and his bricks.

Doesn't surprise considering Gobert is a liability on offense.

Gobert's offense really hasn't improved since his rookie year.

He's getting a lot of touches and it's like he's passing the ball, not wanting to shoot, or missing the shot.

I think more than anything the Celtics need to match the Mavs energy. They have outworked the Timberwolves in almost every game.

I would not bet on that yet.

Remember when you said Ant is already better than JT then JT put up back to back 30-point games?

Luka has never been to the finals.

JT is the only guy that can play better than Luka skills wise. As good as JB is playing, he just can’t take over hames like JT can if he’s engaged. Problem is, we don’t know what JT we’ll have. And we know Luka will show up. That dude is obsessed with winning.

Kyrie quit himself.

He started poorly and got 3 fouls but they had it right with McDaniels and funnel/drop to Rudy. Edwards and Anderson for Luka.

Despite having the best defensive record in the league, playoffs is about match ups and Wolves not well setup to defend Mavs. They have two defensive liabilities in their starting lineup in Conley and KAT and their best defensive perimeter player in McDaniels does not have the core strength for Luka and gets too handsy. Edwards works but then tires himself out and isn't good enough to attack, he needs to get fitter.

Celtics have 3 ideal Luka match ups with JB/Jrue/JT and their "weak links" for Luka are not weak with White/Al/KP. White/JB/JT are good for Kyrie, Jrue has already admitted he doesn't like the fast ones.

Celtics are well setup to both make it harder for Mavs on offensive end AND defensive end.

I'm a follower of FIBA basketball and numerous times I've seen Luka dominate the tournament, only to lose in the semis or finals.

Luka hasn't won anything in the NBA too.

The comparisons are unfair.. it just sets that player up for failure. Replicating MJ is almost impossible, everyone knows that.
