Called this guy in our draft thread! I knew he was a Brad Stevens kind of player.

Idk..Jakucionis scares me a bit. For a PG, his handle is pretty weak..turns the ball over a ton. Streaky shooter, bad defender, subpar athleticism.

He's worth a 1st round pick somewhere in the 15-30 range but I wouldn't reach too high for him..

He seems like a younger Rico clone... We already have one why get another.. Even if he is younger and plays more point guard, I am not that big of a fan. Hopefully that was just a false rumor.

We're over the cap and we have nothing left to trade for.

They're done.

You’re under the second apron and chance Tatum comes back in March. What are you talking about?

Just please don’t force me to watch Georges Niang in a Celtics uniform Brad.

Now time to dump Hauser and Tillman.

It was a pretty good return until we sent Mann and 22 to BRK.
I’d have kept them, but it’s not my money.

I scoured to find a team to flip Mann too, but while he's good, there's just not a need for him on many teams. And even then it's only save X amount, then deal with that player, etc. Not ideal for sure since I'll love guys 22-27 tomorrow, but it's not horrible.

I really wanna know the details on the 2nd rounders, though. I really hope it's not 32 going out and some crap one coming back.

Tea leaves: we need new talent at the five and we are targeting a young PG in the draft. DW could be on the move here.

The two second-round picks from the Portland trade are a 2030 Knicks selection and a 2031 Blazers pick.

He’s probably still getting flipped.

Maybe at the trade deadline.

But like I said, it will be KP and it is indeed KP going out to go under the apron.

What a difference 12 hrs make, huh?

Brad is a smart guy, obviously, but he’s afraid of the lottery because there aren’t guarantees. Ainge was such a good drafter of NBA players. Brad takes the cake on trades so far.

Rico upgrade with the sport package in my book. Passing vision is elite. He wouldn't be my #1 target, but depending on the deal to move up, I could actually be excited about it.

Would be great if the trades didn’t become official for a week or two so that the clock doesn’t start ticking on the expiration date

Luckily there’s talent at that position late first round

It's got to be a smokescreen. I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted the lottery pick to flip it.

There it is. Misplaced optimism.

Even if Tatum came back next march and was a better version of the player who got hurt, this team ain't going to the finals.

You see the roster they have?

I think he’s getting flipped on July 6th. Again KP gets them under the 2nd apron to aggregate salaries. Your guy Simons is a weird fit here. Combine him Hauser and Tillman and you can get a solid player back while staying under the 2nd apron.

No firm details yet... But Shams was on ESPN broadacst and the graphic for the trade said "future second" going to ATL which doesn't sound like #32 tomorrow night ... however, they may just not have the details themselves... still, a hopeful sign that we didn't send out #32

That's what I'm looking for too. No details yet. Hoping we keep pick 32 for this year.

Yeah if healthy with Tatum, it’s almost the same one that went to the ECF before minus Marcus. Unless you still think Marcus is a star (he’s not) what’s your point?

That porzingis trade is horrible. Was this a salary dump?

Losing the two players who put you over the top are gone and you’ve replaced them with a bag of potatoes. Why are you worried
