no reason for the snark response. You are obviously entitled to your own opinion, but I am also sharing mine. My opinion is that head to head Jae is the better player, he plays a more valuable position, he's a "Celtic type" and under a team friendly contract for 4 more years. Then factoring in the new CBA and what players are getting on the open market, Noel is going to cash in. He is getting north of 20 million. non way I want to lock in that much cash on Noel who has already suffered a major knee injury earlier in his career and hasn't exactly been the prototype of durability.

Yo, chill. It was a light hearted joke man, Sheesh put some more coffee in your coffee dude. I admitted i made a mistake, take it and chill.

didn't read that way. But, yes...all good. we are all 1 in Celtics Nation bro!

Thanks for the name calling. That's very mature of you.

My take; IT is NOT the long term answer and I can't believe Ainge is going to pay him $25M+. Everyone is just caught up in the moment with IT (as they should be). When the playoffs role around and we're the #2 or even the #1 seed and the C's get spanked prior to the ECF...

So, sell high and let someone else pay him. Keep Crowder if you can, I love his contract, but having a chance to get a talent like Drummond is rare. I doubt he's even available for the record.

I'll go be "clueless" now. thanks

No thanks. BRK 2017 is more valuable than Jimmy "friggin" Butler. That guy is a cancer and a pre-madonna. Take the Nets pick out, and sure, role the dice.

Boston probably needs to send a BRK pick, how bout the 2018

Starting 5's for;

Celtics - Smart(22), Bradley(26), Brown(20), Horford(30), Drummond(23)

Pistons - Thomas, KCP, Crowder, Harris, Baynes

I'd do this in a heartbeat but Danny will not deal the BRK 17 for anything. So all of these proposals for it are pointless. His final price on Butler would probably be Amir Zeller James Young the Clippers pick and a few 2nd rounders.

I don't particularly want to deal the pick either but this is getting out of hand. So BRK17 is greater than a borderline top 10 player in the league? Also Butler is hardly a diva. I don't blame him for being pissed at the Bulls. It's not even remotely close to a dice roll.

I love trade deadline season. Everyone is getting on edge. Let's all continue ridiculing each other for coming up with trade ideas.

Pass. But if the picks falls out of the top 2 on lottery night, then we can revisit on draft night.

I guess it's just easy to blame the team. Butler is the one who decided to re-up with this problem team. If you want I'll put together all of Jimmy's knucklehead quotes/comments for you. It's hard to say someone is a top 10 player when they can't get their team to win.

I wouldn't do that trade until it is known that Hayward won't sign here. BRK17 + Hayward >>>>>>>>>> Butler
