Carroll is a good bench player energy guy. But he's just so overpaid. Wouldn't be shocked if the Nets bought him out.

I don't know Toronto was praying that they get rid of him not just with the contract but as a player too

Did they? I'm not sure the addition of Carroll and Russell outweighs the loss of Lopez, I still think they will be a bottom 5 team.

I think they still have like 18 millions left, so they could still get KCP maybe. Or they can go for a Dedmon or Jamychal Green.

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe KCP would want to go the Waiters route of taking a 1 year deal on short money to establish a huge contract next year. If the C's strike out on bigs then why not at least ask...

He isn't? At the very worst he's a top 3 option on that team. Him Russell and Lin depending on who you ask. The Nets are going to be trash this season.

Possibly but that doesn't mean there isn't another plan. Especially if this reporter just met with Amir; he would have spoken to Ainge after it was known George was leaving.
